My friend and I stopped by yesterday September 5th to have a drink and we were totally amazed with the newly decorated bar and grill. It's so cozy and comfortable. The new menu offers a great selection and we plan on visiting again soon. Phil and his great staff are welcoming and fun. Love everything about this very unique restaurant. Thanks for making our afternoon totally delightful!!
This is my first year playing golf and I have tried more than a handful of different courses so far. Meadowlake has easily become our favorite due to its friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere, forgiving layout, and reasonable rates. Every starter/ranger we've spoken with is cordial and funny and we've never once been rushed, though we do make sure to keep a reasonable pace. The front 9 is fairly straight without any hazards. The back 9 gets some elevation changes and water hazards into the mix and makes for a very entertaining 18-hole course. Beware on hole 18 tees though, if you have people behind you with a hook, you'll be getting balls flying at you! To top it off, the food upstairs at the pub is outrageously good. Seems like the kitchen staff actually cares about what they are serving. Each meal I have had there has been absolutely perfect. If I had to find a single complaint, the carts seem to be aging a bit. Once in a while you will get one that either doesn't want to start regularly or is lacking power.
From scheduling a tournament over a tee time set days in advance, to an aggressive argumentative starter that makes you feel unwelcome, it's not a great experience. The course is beautiful with a wide variety of different holes perfect for golfers at every level. They were able to accommodate us for their booking issue, but the starter was aggressive and weirdly asked us to play quicker as a result of their booking mistake. In addition to this, after our friend paid his bit, he was greeted by the same starter at his car demanding to know if he paid or not. The starter czar has a huge control issue and is extremely unwelcoming to new visitors. Extremely appreciative of the ladies in the clubhouse, but it's just poorly ran, managed, and I will not be back as a result.
The front 9 of the golf course is challenging, that was my first time on the front 9! I think the course was great! The young man in the pro shop last Friday night was outstanding with his knowledge and very helpful getting the carts and anything else we needed ready to golf! Way to go Meadowlake Golf course we will definitely be returning !⛳
My son and I enjoy playing at Meadowood. The course is well maintained and just challenging enough for us novice golfers.
