Our family has lived in SW FL for 42 years. During that time, we have had several pools built for different homes we've lived in. We've tried the "Big" pool builders and the small mom and pop companies with varying degrees of satisfaction. Penguin Pools easily tops everyone of those building experiences...it's not even close! From our first design consultation with John to the completion of the pool last week, we were always made to feel valued and appreciated as customers. Anytime we had questions or concerns, the office staff were quick to be sure our concerns were met. Throughout the construction process, John continually checked in to ensure things were going smoothly. As the construction moved along, we shared with the office staff that our family had an important event taking place at our home on a certain date. With all the supply and labor shortages going on in the world, we knew it was a tall ask for Penguin to complete our pool in time for our family event. Surprising to us, they did it! In fact, not only did they finish the pool in time but they assisted us with finding vendors to restore our property/landscaping back as if nothing had ever happened. The quality and care that their tile and coping installer displayed was second to none. We could go on and on, but the bottom line is we love Penguin Pools and if we are ever in the market to build another pool, they will be our first and only call! Thank you John, Adam, Carol, Brooke, and everyone at Penguin!!! You're the best!

Run away from Penguin Pools! Shoddy work by concrete contractor. Holes in my concrete pad which caused erosion under the pavers. Supposed to be lifetime warranty, yea right. I’ve been in contact with multiple owners who have had similar issues with their pool construction. Time for a Class Action lawsuit!

We met with a few pool companies before we made our decision and we chose Penguin. We liked the idea it was Family owned and they treated us as Family. We obviously were very anxious to see the end results I think we may have driven them crazy at times . I can tell you it is worth it to really consider Penguin pools , you will have a quality job. Our Nieghbors who also had pools installed told us how great ours looks. One Neighbor is very particular and he said how impressed he was with the job.

Updated for Hurricanes Helene and Milton: After these two new hurricanes, John reached out to me to see if I needed help with pool cleaning. Again John and Andy did a very good job getting my pool cleaned and my pump motor replaced. Of course, “everyone needs everything” after damage from a hurricane, so patience is necessary when resources or parts are scare. Thanks again Penguin Pools. After Hurricane Ian: John and his team at Penguin Pools did excellent work emptying and cleaning my pool after Hurricane Ian. The effort required a lot of hard work and some heavy duty equipment to get the job done. They cleaned the area around the pool of sand and some small debris, helping to minimize small items blowing into the pool after it was cleaned. They pulled many unusual items out of the pool from the hurricane, wood, siding, clothing, bedding, bricks, and lots and lots of sand. After emptying the pool they worked hard cleaning the pool surface, leaving only a few stubborn marks that hopefully will fade over time. They did remove some of the stubborn marks that had been on the pool bottom before the hurricane. After cleaning and filling the pool John and his team installed the new filter and pump, also leaving things ready for a connection for a pool heater in the future. Soon thereafter John and my electrician worked together to get everything running smoothly. I was so appreciative of their cooperative effort. For a few days after the pool equipment was running smoothly, someone stopped by to check on the water quality and the operation of the pump and filter. With so much demand for repairs / cleanup for our homes, yards and pools, I am impressed with and appreciative of Penguin Pools' comprehensive and high quality services. Thank you!

By the time we decided to automate our pool and changed to saline, the work was done in less than 10 days; decisions - finish. We also added a new, updated spa pump. Since this is our first pool, John and Roberta were very helpful and patient teaching me how to run and schedule with new app. Everything works great. We are very satisfied.
