Really enjoyed our stay. The people on sanibel are so kind. Quiet, beach is great. So many shells to collect. Cant wait to come back
We've been coming for close to 40 years. It never disappoints. We've met so many friends over the years from different states that we keep in contact with.
I have been coming to Tortuga for over 40 years and just love it here. Lots of progress since Ian and it will take time but all of the beautiful landscaping will be back by the time we return again.
I am a long-time HGVC member and knew in advance what the state of the resort was in. Even though the pool and its amenities are still under construction the Unit we stayed in 134 in Building E was in good condition. The unit is scheduled to receive upgraded appliances as of 7/8. So that will improve the unit even more. I did report to the staff some issues such as ants and minor touch-ups, but overall the beach was fantastic. Seaweed was not bad and the water was pretty clear. If you have an opportunity to stay in Sanible Island PLEASE DO SO. The community needs our business as best as possible. They are still feeling the strain from Ian.
Great people. I love the 2 bedroom units. The pool area is still being reconstructed after Hurricane Ian and the boardwalks to the beach will have to wait until after turtle nesting season to be rebuilt.
