Indoor pool for lessons and free swim sessions, with instructors and a teaching staff.
The main competition pool at North Lake Natatorium is typically maintained at approximately 80 degrees Fahrenheit (26.7°C). A separate, smaller therapy pool is kept at a warmer temperature of around 88 degrees Fahrenheit (31.1°C).
What are people saying (AI review summary)? This recreation center is highly regarded as a spacious and well-maintained facility, offering a variety of affordable programs, particularly excellent swimming lessons for all age groups. Reviewers consistently praise the knowledgeable and friendly instructors, the top-notch, clean pool facilities, and modern locker rooms. Children, in particular, enjoy and learn effectively. The staff is also noted for being great and kind. However, a common complaint is the limited availability of space for free or lap swimming, as much of the large pool is often allocated to swim lessons and competitive training, making it difficult to find open lanes, especially in the deep end. The water temperature is considered good for the public but might be a bit warm for swim team members.

My. Son is registered for swim class here. And it’s so spacious , there are even tennis courts as well . It’s a good recreation center
Offers a variety of programs and classes for all age groups. From swimming lessons for beginners to advanced training for competitive swimmers, there’s something for everyone. The instructors are knowledgeable and friendly, making the learning experience enjoyable. The swimming pool facilities are top-notch. The pool area is spacious and well-maintained, with clear water that looks very inviting. The locker rooms and showers are clean and equipped with modern amenities. 1/4 expense compared to many private swimming schools.
Great indoor pool for swimming lessons for the kiddos. My granddaughter has enjoyed and learned to swim. So much so, she has and still wants to continue with more advanced swim lessons. Free swim however, is not so great. There is too small of area for playtime swimming as the majority of the extremely large pool is designated for swim lessons and laps. Even so...my granddaughter and always have fun.
The staff is great. The water is a little warm for the swim team, but I'm sure it's perfect for the public.
My ONLY complaint about this facility is that the swim team and swimming lessons take up most of the pool. This was the second time I’ve been asked to get out of the pool and find a lane to share with someone. Normally that would be fine like the first time I was asked, but all of the deep end lanes were taken and already being shared. There was one shallow lane open thankfully, but I really wanted to be on the deep end since I like diving deep. I got there at 7 on a Monday night and I was hoping that by 8:30 the deep end lanes would open, but they never did.. Other than that this facility is nice. The employees are kind and the pools are clean. I just wish there were more deep end lanes open.
