End of summer day-cation for my family before heading back up for school. The park was very clean and staff was very strong in all areas. We were able to easily find a nice shaded area for our belongings to enjoy being up close to the wave pool. I recommend bringing a cooler if staying the entire day to allow a variety of snacking options. We also enjoyed some of the food choices at the park including a refreshing Piña colada.
Came twice during the summer and we had a great time. Got a cabana both times which was nice and clean. We love that our young daughter can go down almost all the slides. Pretty clean park. Parking is far back so get there early.
As the first time visitor to this location I was slightly underwhelmed. A long line with only one person in place to scan people in and check bags, unfortunately the park needs some maintenance. Removing dead trees and bushes, Remove all of the weeds and scrub, repair or replace speakers and water features that are broken. The spring is when all of that should have been done. Not neglected and ignored. They should also consider adding several Beverage Only stations to cut down on the amount of time people stand in line. There's not enough employees or food and drink locations to make this a repeat visit. We spent more time in lines, waiting to get in and get a drink than in the water. I do not know if the other locations are the same, but I'm hopeful they take more care of what could be a great local family trip.
We visited Hawaiian Falls Roanoke on a work deal and were excited for a fun day with our three kids. Unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing. The parking situation is rough—very limited shaded spaces and a long walk across scorching pavement just to get inside. Not ideal for families, especially in 100+ degree Texas heat. I couldn’t t believe they didn’t offer a shuttle service. Such a missed opportunity! Any Momma with multiple children and bags to tote would pay and appreciate the lift! Customer service from most of the staff was lacking. Many of the employees seemed young, untrained, and uninterested in helping. I had to ask five different people just to get clear information about cabana rentals. For the price, what they call a “cabana” is really just a pop up with a table and chairs, no loungers—definitely not worth it and quite misleading. However, I want to recognize Savannah, a manager who went above and beyond to accommodate my medical needs. As someone with Type 1 Diabetes, I wear water shoes to protect my feet from heat and injury at water parks. When lifeguards on the slides asked me to remove them, I asked to speak with a manager and explained my condition. Savannah was incredibly kind and understanding. She gave me a special wristband so I wouldn’t have to explain myself repeatedly at each slide. Her compassion and professionalism truly made a difference, and I’m so grateful. While there’s still a lot of work needed in staff training and overall guest service and the guest experience, Savannah stood out as someone who genuinely cared and represented the kind of service this park should aim for. ✨ Extra Tips for a Better Guest Experience ✨ (Especially for family-focused water parks 💦) 🪑 Offer escorts for first-time families to help them find open seating and a spot to store their belongings—this small gesture makes a big first impression! 🍔 Streamline food orders by taking guests’ names or using seat numbers instead of calling out orders. It reduces confusion and helps families relax instead of hovering near the counter. 💵 Allow teens to accept tips for providing helpful extras—like escorting guests or assisting with food delivery. It not only encourages great service but also: ✅ Attracts more teens and young adults to apply ✅ Helps staff more lifeguards so all slides can be open ✅ Keeps employees engaged instead of distracted by phones 🛝 Parents come to water parks to enjoy their kids—not to feel like they’re working. A few thoughtful touches can turn a good day into a great one! 👏🏼
3.5 Stars For the price I payed on Groupon this was definitely a great day for the kids. The park is operated well all rides worked and staff did a good job. We caught a perfect day with tolerable lines. And nice temperatures. That’s a win for us! Unfortunately I would say the park isn’t very clean. Urine smell outside the bathroom, debris and very sadly even trash floating in the lazy river. Many broken chairs in the kids area (also many functional ones still) and the kids area also had a smell to it. The park seems a bit outdated and run down but is fully functional. I do like the 20$ cooler policy. That’s a nice touch for large families. Plenty of seating even in the shade. I would not pay full price for this park or even come more then once but for the deal we got we enjoyed our self’s fine.
