What are people saying (AI review summary)? The Hyland Hills pool and park are generally well-regarded, particularly for families. The pool is often described as clean, large (up to 4.5 feet deep), and accessible for all, including those with disabilities via a chair lift. It features a splash pad, pavilions with tables, friendly lifeguards, and snacks/drinks for sale. There's a special free access hour from 4 pm to 5 pm daily, and visitors can bring small floats. The adjacent park is noted for its beauty, a lake, and a playground for kids. However, areas for improvement include inconsistent phone responsiveness for inquiries, a desire for earlier opening hours, and some complaints about the condition of the bathrooms, despite one review stating they were clean. Entrance fees require cash, and visitors are advised to check the Hyland Hills website or call the main number for current opening schedules.

Too bad it doesn't open up at nine o'clock so the kids could have fun for it gets too hot
This pool is clean, and splash pad has a Pavillion and two tables. There's a pavilion with tables for the pool area as well. They don't answer the phone when ppl call in for info, though. Lifeguards are on duty, and they are friendly. The bathroom was clean, and they have some chips and cold drinks for sale as well. The pool and splash pad area is FREE to everyone from 4 pm to 5 pm. Park right next door is very cool to go dry off before getting into your car to go home. You can bring small floats for the pool. The pool is large and I think it goes to 4.5 feet. So manageable depth for Littles. Also, I saw a chair lift for use by handicapped individuals to also enjoy the pool.
It's a beautiful park, they have a gazebo that is almost in the middle of the lake. My friend got married there. They have a outdoor pool and it's right next door to the HylandHills Sports Center. I pla. On going back with my family.
This is a great little pool at a great little price (and you'll need cash to pay the entrance fee). Water is 3.5 to 4 feet deep. The kids love both the pool and the adjacent playground. You just have to check ahead of time to see if it's open the day you want to go. The open pools for each week are posted on the Hyland Hills website, or you can call the main number and they will tell you.
Great place for families. Hopefully it gets some much needed attention soon. The bathrooms are looking a little rough.
