The F-15 Pool is a popular seasonal community swimming facility located in the Central Park neighborhood of Denver, CO. Named as a nod to the area's history as Stapleton Airport, it offers a refreshing outdoor swimming experience and serves as a community hub for residents during the summer months, providing a family-friendly environment with lifeguards and various amenities.
The F-15 Pool is heated and maintains a comfortable water temperature of approximately 80 degrees Fahrenheit (27 degrees Celsius) during its operational season, which typically runs from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? This pool facility is highly praised for its friendly and attentive staff, good water temperature, and clean restrooms and snack area. It combines a 1960s aesthetic with modern touches, offering a diving board, numerous water features for kids (including a large shallow end), and dedicated adult-only swim times (15 minutes every hour). Located within a pocket park, it also features an adjacent playground and a lawn area, making it a popular and often crowded summer destination for residents (who should bring their resident cards for entry). A recurring point of feedback is the staff's diligent, yet sometimes perceived as overly cautious, policy of closing the pool for lightning, which occasionally leads to early closures (around 5 PM) even if storms quickly pass.

The pool buildings are like a 1960's pool with modern touches. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Awesome pool! They have a sweet diving board and the adults get the pool to themselves every 45 minutes for 15 minutes. Lots of fountains and great places for kids to play. Staff definitely play it safe and close the pool down if there is lightning in 5 mile radius, just like all the other pools. Definitely would want to come here in the evening more, but they close down around 5 a lot, that's the only gripe.
Pool is kept at a good temperature. Facilities include snack area, and clean restrooms. 45 minutes on the hour is adult time for 15 minutes. This year (2015) there were afternoon storms and the staff seem to quick to close the facility after the first signs of the storm. Most of the time the storm was gone within 20 minutes
This is a nice little pocket park in the eastbridge area of Stapleton. There is a playground for little kids right outside of the pool. There is also a good sized lawn area for them to run around and play. The pool itself is good sized and is very popular in the summer. Don't forget to bring your residents card so you can get in without having to pay extra. Although it gets pretty crowded it still is a fun place to hang out with your neighbors, get your toes wet, and catch some rays.
Visited for the first time and loved it. Attentive life guards. Large shallow end with fun water feature for kids. Bathrooms were clean.
