Summer-seasonal fixture with a main pool and a shallow kids' pool.
Specific pool temperatures are not publicly listed on the Green Mountain Swim Club's website or general information. While outdoor pools are often heated for comfort, an exact temperature for their Olympic-sized lap pool, diving well, or toddler pool is not provided.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? The swim club generally receives high praise for its wonderful atmosphere, strong community, and dedicated, prepared staff, with many reviewers highlighting the impressive annual 4th of July celebration. The swim team, the Green Mountain Gators, is particularly well-regarded for its kind and supportive environment, offering a wide age range for participants and fostering strong friendships among members. However, a significant negative point revolves around the swim lessons, especially the Pre-K class. Reviewers describe these lessons as overcrowded and ineffective, noting that young children are overstimulated and unable to participate properly due to a lack of space and poor instructional methods. Concerns were also raised about instructors wasting time and management's unresponsiveness to feedback regarding these issues.

Grew up enjoying the wonderful atmosphere and community of this pool! It has never been the fanciest of swim clubs; however, they consistently have the nicest and prepared staff. I've never seen so much effort put forth for an annual 4th of July celebration, and I make it a point to be there every year! Not to mention the beautiful community behind.
I love this place I am not a member at the actual pool anymore but when we were there it was amazing. All of the people are so kind and awesome there. They also have a swim team and I am on that and again the people are just the best and they plan so many fun and exciting things for us. The age groups for the swim team go from 8 and under to 18 so we have a really wide range of kids. I've made some of my closest friends there.I would definitely recommend this.
I love the atmosphere of the pool. However, swim lessons are a joke. The Pre K class is over crowded. 9 kids about the ages 3-4 over fill the steps. They are asked to do bobs , spread their arms and legs out like star fish, bend down and blow bubbles...however they can't move due to how crowded it is.There's so many kids on the steps, they are over stimulated. On top of it, there is 3 instructors for this class. They waste a lot of time doing nothing. They start every class dunking the kids ( no introduction, no becoming friends w/the kids, no getting them to trust you). I've been taking kids to lessons for 22 years at various locations. This club is not where you should start your child's adventures in water. This shouldn't be hard... 3 instructors with 9 kids, you each can take 3 kids and spend your time efficiently. Do 3 groups ( 1 on steps, 2 other separate groups on the wall), each instructor can teach a different task - rather then watching each other- and then rotate the groups. Maybe closing the lesson in that cute little wadding pool playing something like Mr Shark. If the kids get to do something fun at the end, maybe that would get the kids to participate in class. Yes, I talked to the manager and they really didn't care that their class was a waste of time. It's a joke. Go to Foothills or Lakewood pools.
love this club. The swim club is really good. and the kids and staff have a good vibe and personality.
My daughter is part of the Swim Team for the Green Mountain Gators. It's nice having coaches and parents there for our kids to do something not only fun but enduring. Let's go Gators!
