Family-friendly option featuring a swimming pool (with a deep end for more confident swimmers) and a playground.
The outdoor pool(s) at Lake Arbor Center are heated to ensure a comfortable swimming temperature throughout their operational season. A precise, specific temperature is not consistently publicized; however, similar municipal outdoor pools are typically maintained within a comfortable range, often around 80-82°F (26-28°C).
What are people saying (AI review summary)? The reviews cover two distinct types of facilities: a preschool and several pools/parks. The preschool review is overwhelmingly negative, detailing numerous incidents of disrespectful and demeaning staff, poor communication, and an attempt to shame the parents, ultimately leading to the child being withdrawn. In contrast, the reviews for pools and parks are generally positive, highlighting fun and well-maintained facilities for children, including large pools with varying depths for different ages, engaging playgrounds, and good amenities like grassy areas and locker rooms. Common criticisms across the pool reviews include limited field space, occasional overcrowding (especially with visiting camp groups), and a perception that some pools are not relaxing for adults, though kids generally have a good time.
Reviews
The teachers at this preschool are not respectful and try to demean you for no reason at all. My wife brought my son in after school to go to the bathroom like 30 seconds after it ended and the teacher aid came in bitching about not knocking on the front door even tho that’s not a thing, then while my wife was walking him to the bathroom she nastily said oh and always take your kid to the bathroom, and everyday they always made sligh comments for no reason, or called and bitched at us for our account malfunctioning and deactivating or something, and so we are putting him in a different preschool, after pulling him they sent us pictures of places to get free food if we couldn’t afford to eat. We have plenty of food at home and aren’t poor, not that that’s an issue but they are trying to shame us for no reason at all. No idea what’s up with those old hags or why they act like that but maybe they should replace the staff. I would give 0 stars if I could.
Great neighborhood pool. Glad they got it ready for this summer! Not too crowded. Not much to do, one slide that’s 10ft deep so gotta know how to swim. Weird they let bus loads of camp kids from Cherry Creek and Denver to come over run the pool. You’d think they would have plenty to choose from in their area.
Nice outdoor pool with some grassy areas. Locker room is well designed. Pool is often not too crowded due to its somewhat hidden location.
This is a pretty fun park! There is not much field space to run wild, but there is a pool! The pool is great, it's big, and has an area for smaller children as well as a deep part for confident swimmers. The playground here is an average playground, it's got lots of ways to climb up, and some slides to come down. There are also swings. It's not a huge structure, so small kids can climb it easily. There are many parts to explore, so kids won't get bored quickly.
Definitely for the kids. Mostly always crowded, an not relaxing, but the kids have fun.
