What are people saying (AI review summary)? Kensington Metropark Splash ‘n’ Blast is widely praised as an amazing and beautiful splash pad, offering great fun for all ages, from small children to adults, including those with special needs. Visitors appreciate the two "awesome" waterslides, which are not too fast, and the rubber-bottomed splash pad that prevents scraped feet. The facility offers good amenities, including re-entry with a wristband, permission to bring coolers, and ample shaded seating. While the water is noted as being typically chilly, the primary concern raised by multiple reviewers is lifeguard attentiveness, especially with many young children around the waterslides, with specific mentions of lifeguards being distracted by their phones. Entry fees are $5 or $7 depending on height, and it tends to be less busy during the week.

$5 or $7 entry depending on height. The 2 waterside are awesome for small kids up to adults. Not too fast or crazy and lots of fun. We went during the week so not too busy. You get a wrist band so you can come and go to the bathrooms, beach, playground or concession stand. You're allowed to bring coolers and there are plenty of seats and picnic tables with umbrellas. The water is chilly but standard for a splash pad.
What a BEAUTIFUL splash pad! This place is amazing. Only complaint is that most of the kids are very young and the lifeguard on duty today 8/8/25 between 3:30 and 4 didn’t even look at the slides for a combined total of 4 seconds. He was walking in circles staring at his phone for about 15 minutes, then went to the chair and continued to stare at his phone until we left. These are very young children and somebody could get hurt.
Our JCC Day Camps Special Needs program had an amazing day at Kensington Metropark Splash ‘n’ Blast! The water slides and splash areas were a huge hit, and our campers didn’t stop talking about how much fun they had. It was a great way to enjoy the summer and gave everyone a chance to cool off and play together.
We love this one. The splash pad has rubber on the bottom so the kiddos don't have to hurt their feet on concrete.
Super awesome, fun time w the kiddos!! The only complaint I have is the lifeguards should be more alert w that many young ones around...especially on the water slides.
