Joining swim class helped build my son’s confidence in swimming. Last summer he was two and wouldn’t let me go when we went swimming. One month of lessons and he was swimming all by himself! He graduated to the next level and his growth and confidence continues to grow! He jumps off the boat now with his sister and cousin! I give major praise to our swim teacher Freddie! She is patient, kind and fun in every class! I would highly recommend everyone to join!

Love this place!!! The instructors are wonderful! The facility is so clean and the management does everything they can to ensure you and your child have success in their swim school! Plus, it’s affordable. Highly recommend big blue swim school in Sterling Heights!!

Big Blue is an excellent swim school. The instructors are warm, friendly, and make learning to swim a fun experience for my kids. The facility is always clean and well-maintained, which I really appreciate. I was especially excited when they added adult classes—it’s great to see options for the whole family. I highly recommend Big Blue to any families looking for quality swim lessons.

I am amazed with how well-run and organized this place is. Every detail is thought of, from entering the pool area, time efficiency so you get every bit of lesson that you pay for squeezed into that half hour, as well as exiting the pool with showers and back to the changing room. Changing rooms are huge and have more than enough room for a child with parent. Every single one has a diaper changing station and a bench for sitting. Cubbies are available to stash your things. Parents have full view of their child's lesson. The observation room is very large and it's so nice and quiet, they even have peaceful music playing. It's a nice break for parents, lol! And you get to watch your child be trained in swimming. I like the chairs they have for observation, and they even have a counter where you could bring your laptop to work and charge if absolutely necessary. After or before lesson there are fun gym mats that kids love to run and jump around on too. It's great to get the wiggles out for younger kids. They have giant connect four and a coloring table too. The only cons we've experienced, and the cons are are small, is the size of the lanes and the speed at which they let kids progress through the classes. The lanes are a little tight for four children (which is their max class size). I also felt like my kids could have progressed a little quicker through their benchmarks but I suppose that comes down to theory. They want your child to have perfect swimming form but I just kind of want them to be able to swim. It all depends on your preference. Bottom line, you get what you pay for. This is a fantastic swim school.

Enrolled my grandson 2 years ago. He had no swimming skills and now is in the advanced class. The staff is very professional, pleasant and caring. My grandson went from not wanting water in his face to diving for pool toys today! Excellent program!
