Camelback have a lot of activities to offer to begin with your accommodation comes with free indoor water park Aquatopia my family enjoyed it so much the wave pool is perfect size, lazy river is one of their favorite, when they get tired we go to arcade area and play some games, the place also offer different kind of food options they also have desserts that kids loves, outdoor you will find some rides nearby like the mountain coaster, you can always opt in with their outdoor water park Camelback beach that opens from Memorial Day weekends to Labor Day I highly recommended this to the families that wanted different kind of adventures in one place, We will comeback again for sure.
We decided to take a trip around Pennsylvania and we decided to visit this beautiful water park. We liked it for everything it offered. As soon as we arrived we checked in at the hotel. It was very quick and easy. After that they explained to us how everything worked inside the hotel, the only thing we did not understand is why you pay for a hotel with all the amenities included. They charge you $25 for parking even if it is the same person who parks it, I understand if it were the valley parking lot / but it is like that. They charge you $25 for parking and $40 if it is someone who parks it for you. That same day we enjoyed all the rides, and the machines. We loved everything. They have a shower and a changing area in the water park. They have restaurants, a bar, a pizzeria, everything you need, everything perfect for a weekend with the kids. Another thing that I didn't understand or that doesn't make sense is that we decided to call reception to get an extra blanket for the children if possible and the person who attended to us told us that it wasn't possible since that wasn't included. I think that if it's a resort hotel they should give you the necessary services to spend a good night in such a cold climate. Apart from all that, it's very nice. We loved everything. I would like to come back another time and enjoy a little more of everything they offer in activities... I RECOMMEND THEM.❤️
I recently stayed at Camelback Resort and overall, it was a good experience. The place is clean, and the rooms were very tidy and comfortable. However, I would not recommend going on the weekend. I arrived around 12 PM but didn’t get into my room until 3:30 PM. The resort was extremely crowded, and I felt that the price was a bit high considering there’s no food included. Even the restaurant was closed during the evening on Saturday, which was very disappointing. I strongly suggest that visitors bring their own food just in case. As for the Aquatopia waterpark, it’s okay, but honestly, the American Dream waterpark is much better.
We had a day to spend at this water park and from first look from the outside it seemed great. When finally getting in, the slides and raft rides seemed old and need some upgrading along with the other play areas there. Only thing that was great was the huge hot tub where you can sit inside or outside and it was awesome. The swim up bar and flow house was nice as well. Waterpark was not as big as surrounding ones in the area but camelback is known for skiing, not water parks.
The staff explained to my friends and I, you must purchase the water park tickets online. The online website is extremely difficult and most of the staff was not helpful. Be aware there are no military discounts. I asked to speak with customer services because the website was not working but they said they could not help us. Some of the staff are extremely rude but we really wanted to enjoy ourselves so it took about 15 minutes and we purchased the tickets online. The overall water park was fun and we enjoyed the slides and the hot tub. Just plan ahead, purchase the tickets online, and if you are like us and want to go for a few hours after skiing... You need at least 2 hours to enjoy!
