Water park with slides located within the Kalahari Resorts & Convention Center.
While specific temperatures for the outdoor pools are not always explicitly advertised, Kalahari Resorts are generally recognized for maintaining comfortably warm water. The resort's indoor waterpark pools are consistently kept at a safari-warm 84°F, and the outdoor pools are typically heated to ensure a pleasant and enjoyable experience for guests.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? The destination is highly recommended for families, offering a wide array of activities for both adults and children, and is often preferred over competitors. The outdoor waterpark is generally well-received for its pools, kiddie pools, and slides, despite a minor issue with abrasive concrete bottoms. The indoor waterpark is large and mostly indoors, though it can get crowded. While the hotel experience is largely positive, poor internet connectivity was noted. A specific complaint involved the incorrect classification and upcharge of Kona Big Wave beer as an import.
Reviews
The Kona Big Wave beer is incorrectly listed as an Import and has an upcharge. It's a domestic beer.
The outdoor waterpark is really nice, there's a pool, a kiddie pool, and a few slides for kids. There's a few food and drink stands. My only problem is the bottom of the pools, the concrete scrapes your skin while you swim. But overall I really enjoyed the outdoor waterpark!
