Free area featuring a fenced-off splash area as well as a playground for kids.
As a splash park and spray ground, Island Grove Splash Park typically uses unheated, ambient temperature water from the municipal supply rather than a traditional heated pool. Therefore, specific pool temperatures are not provided or maintained, as the water is not a contained, heated body.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? This splash pad is highly praised as a free and fun local entertainment option for kids, featuring multiple water-spraying elements that allow for easy supervision. It's conveniently located near a playground and bathrooms. While visitors appreciate the large umbrellas providing some shade, there's a common desire for more shaded seating areas and benches, with many recommending bringing your own chairs. Some reviews also note the presence of trash and express a wish for the splash pad to remain open later in the season.

This is a really nice splash pad. There’s at least ten different things spraying water in the small area where you can keep track of multiple kids at one time. There are limited benches/picnic tables to sit at so bringing your own is recommended. And there isn’t much shade either. The splash pad itself is raised up on a hill above a grassy area with more shade but down there you can’t see much of the splash pad. It’s also within walking distance to the playground and bathrooms though the playground is far enough away that kids aren’t tempted to switch back and forth.
Best free entertainment anyone could ask for for a kid. Thanks so much for putting this in! The world needed it! Could use a couple of benches in the shade, so just bring a chair or hop on the grass because they did provide huge umbrellas for shade right next to the splash pad. Super awesome!!
It's a nice little park! I only selfishly wish there was more shady spots to choose from and there can be a good bit of trash laying around, but for the most part it's definitely worth bringing the fam
We love this place but it would be good if it stayed open a little later in the year. It's already closed for the summer and it's August 25th.
