Reviews
Our group met at Shepard’s Spring in order to conduct a yoga and spiritual retreat. Steven was so welcoming and our rooms were well-prepared. The isolated setting was a perfect getaway. It was wonderful to have a small enough group that each member could have a spacious room in the lodge to relax and have private reflection. What a nice surprise to see it stocked with bathroom supplies and a hotel-like quantity/quality of towels for our use. The crowning glory of this stay was the amazing food prepared by their chef/cook, Carey. She nourished us, while taking into consideration dietary needs of the participants. We spent the weekend eating the rainbow and feeling filled with the love in that food. It was too cold and too slippery for all of us to enjoy the lovely setting of this retreat space, but some of the group took the brisk walk to the river and seemed to have enjoyed it quite well. We felt safe and grateful for the spaces available for use during our stay. Thank you Shepher’s Spring for hosting our group!
I just had the pleasure of leading my youth group in a retreat at Shepherd Springs. Everything from the cabin to the food to the recreational activities were fabulous...not to mention our incredible host for the weekend. I am pretty sure my group has found our summer destination for years to come. Try this place out for small groups or for corporate groups. You will not be disappointed!
