We are biased as 4th generstion members, but I think it is the best private pool in Huntsville. Salt water, plenty of shade, the ambiance being set back into the woods and surrounded by the nature preserve makes this pool unique!
Our family have enjoyed summers here for several years. Great family atmosphere in a beautiful setting near the Land Trust.
Let Me Tell Y'all How Awesome the people at Mountain Springs Pool are! It was the 4th of July and my friend and our children wanted to go swimming so we googled public pools and came across this location. When we arrived, the attendant informed us we must be a resident or a member of the club and was declined entry. We started to walk away until a gentleman intervened and said he and his wife would like to have us as their guests. Big Thanks to Mr. Lee and his wife Brittany!!! 😍 We entered and quickly realised We Were The ONLY Black People There! 😱 In the days of Trump and racial tension we were nervous but we continued. Yes in 2018, I felt like they would Dorothy Dandridge the pool if we stuck our toe in but they didn't. 😂 Everyone could tell we felt out of place and began to greet us and tell us about the day's events. Our girls went on to have fun and I met some wonderful, loving and kind people there. I will admit the negative thoughts were all in my head and we soon felt the energy of the family environment. We had a great holiday with the people at Mountain Springs Pool!
Water was too warm, like a bath. They need to add water features to the return inlets around the pool to keep the water cool enough to be refreshing.
