What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reviews for the swim club are mixed. Positively, it is described as a great, well-run facility connected to Carmel High School, offering many lanes, warm water, and extensive hours for workouts. Adequate equipment and seating are also noted. However, significant negative feedback includes a specific incident where a coach allegedly forced a 10-year-old to exercise barefoot in a swimsuit while others were dressed, causing the child distress. Other criticisms mention outdated practice schedules, some locker rooms appearing dirty (yellow), and challenging parking during events.
Reviews
Today was my 10 year old daughters first time at the swim club and it was a disaster. The schedule to tell the swimmer's if practice is in the pool or not was only for the end of August. Today was an exercise day outside of the pool, and my daughter was in her bathing suit. The coach for the voyager 2 (older man with a beard) did not let my daughter return to the bleachers to put on her shorts, top and shoes. Instead, had her do the exercising in her swimsuit, barefoot. This of course happened while everyone was in shorts and shirt. My daughter came home crying and shaking. The fact that a coach, let alone a human being would not excuse her to go put on her shorts, shoes and top....while everyone else is dressed, is beyond words. I understand the competitive side of sports, and being "tough," but what this coach did to my daughter was beyond cruel. I cannot recommend this place whatsoever. My daughter has anxiety, and what she experienced today was beyond horrible.
This location is connected with Carmel High School, and it receives decent funding. There's benches and different equipment on the side of the pool. However, one thing j dont like is that the locker rooms and other surfaces are sometimes yellow, which looks dirty. Otherwise its great.
Good stuff. Seems really well ran and in decent shape. Water warm D and the programs they have likely support it. Parking is difficult sometimes because at the events they really fill up but the seating seems adequate.
This is the pool goggins went for weight loss
Great pool with lots of lanes and many hours available for laps or vigorous workouts.
