What are people saying (AI review summary)? This pool receives mixed reviews, with some patrons appreciating its spaciousness, the quiet atmosphere on Saturday mornings, and its suitability for diving board use. There are also positive mentions of attentive staff and helpful management. However, significant concerns are raised regarding the lifeguards; many find them overly strict about rules (prohibiting roughhousing, running, and even harmless splashing, as well as certain floats and nose-covering goggles) and, in some cases, unprofessional and negligent. Specific complaints include lifeguards engaging in horseplay, bleeding in the pool, misusing equipment, and rudely scolding patrons. Another negative point mentioned is flooded bathrooms. While the pool itself is often described as nice or okay, the lifeguard experience often detracts from the overall enjoyment.

I love this pool! There is enough room for everyone and on Saturdays it’s quiet for the 1st couple of hours, barely anyone is there. The only downside is floats and goggles that cover the nose is prohibited, even with the lifeguards there but I get it and respect their rules. I come to this pool almost every weekend.
The pool itself was okay but the lifeguards were very strict about no rough housing, no running, or even harmless splashing if you have kids please don't go here. Another thing is the bathrooms were flooded with water from a hose and made it extremely hard to change while staying dry.
yall i have never left a google review in my life but going to this pool today irked me so bad that i feel like i need to…. all i can say is.. RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. i’ve been going for years since i went to thomas jefferson school myself, and it’s always been a good time and good environment but when i went today all of the lifeguards were so negligent and rude.. which i usually don’t care, do what you want and have a good time but they were throwing orange traffic cones filed with water at each other, one of the girl lifeguards and one of the guy lifeguards were swimming and the girl kicked him in the nose and he was bleeding all in the pool and blowing the blood out in the water.. and once again the LIFEGUARDS were hanging on the diving board like they’re monkey bars and randomly telling everyone to get out of the deep end and off the diving board because they wanted to swim in the deep in.. like i said before have fun i don’t care but it’s the fact they went out of there way to get onto me and my friend and scream across the pool for standing on a step of the diving board while someone was jumping off.. mind you we were not ON the diving board we were on the step.. not harming the other person AT ALL and every time we waited for them to get out of the pool before we would jump in.. no nice warning or anything just got screamed at for quite literally nothing.. it irked me so bad i left right then. the pool itself was nice, but the lifeguards this year really are disappointing..
Went today with my kids. The staff was very attentive. The manager Lauren (or Laura) was amazing! Very understanding and knowledgeable when it came to her answering my questions about what to and what not to bring to the pool. Would highly recommend this location.
Pool is great for the kiddos wanting to use the board. We have a pool at home so the only reason we go is for the diving board
