Things that are broken never seem to get repaired. On the weekends the outside changing rooms are a wreck and the toilets are clogged. Everything is dated. For example, yesterday (07/21/25) the cardio room was 91 degrees? I guess the A/C wasn't a priority to fix in the summer - see pic.

Clean, but dated facility. Gym is small and often crowded. Joined while training for triathlons (2yrs) achieved my goals and terminated my membership…only to learn they require a 30 day notice and an additional months payment. Such a vendictive/dated policy!

While the instructors are great, the management could use improvement. Slightly rude when asked basic questions about swimming pool chlorine levels, etc. (pool smelled strongly of chlorine). The facilities could also use a good cleaning.

I wish I had taken my kids here for swim lessons from the start. We did swim lessons at the Y off and on for many years, and I never felt like they progressed much. They were often not being taught anything, just being held while they pretended to swim. In 8 lessons at Blairwood, I could see they were not only being challenged but also being taught potentially life-saving skills they had never been taught before.
