Great location. Chandler, the front desk associate, was very knowledgeable in the plans offered between corporate and franchise memberships. Because of him, I was able to make an informed purchase of the gym membership. Very positive, well-mannered gentleman. Associates like him are what give me a safe space to want to return to Gold’s and have a great consumer experience

Pharr Golds gym has been home for the past few years and by far is the best! Exceptional cleanliness, professional staff, a welcoming environment, and a wide selection of equipment and classes to choose from!

The pool at Golds Gym in Pharr is clean, well maintained, and heated perfectly in the winter. Lap swimming is a wonderful experience at this gym.

It's a pretty average gym but probably below average amongst the rest of the gold's gyms in the valley. Parking lot barely has any lighting and feels somewhat unsafe. Equipment is decent enough but could use some improvements. I've been noticing small improvements over the last few months. Over all there are better gyms to go to but this one is good enough. 5/10 ⭐ Update: They've fixed the parking lot lighting. It looks like they're trying to make improvements but still feels lackluster. The gym most of the time is incredibly humid, uncomfortably humid. I get that we're there to exercise but if I want a sauna I'll go to one for that. AC still constantly leaks. Nasty men's room. Nice staff though! But you're not getting your money's worth. I'll probably only keep this membership for the leg workout area but that's it, not my main gym anymore. If I wasn't paying a discounted rate I would definitely cancel this membership. Solid 4/10⭐️
