Been going here for 3 years, this gym is an absolute dump. The gym is filthy and clearly hasn't been cleaned in years. When "renovations" began in 2023 we were told that we'd be getting new equipment with the pool and sauna being renovated as well. The "new" equipment is clearly used, torn, rusty and dirty. They took away all the adjustable benches except for one, as if it wasn't hard to get one of the two before. There are missing weights and the weight rack smells like urine. At least a third of the machines are completely unusable with the rest having some sort of issue. The bathrooms and locker rooms are gross and dirty, with mold growing everywhere. Some of the showers have been "out of order" for months. The pool, sauna, and steam room were supposed to be open in January and they are still in disrepair with no progress seen in months.
Update: 7/14/25: Lovely updates reopening everything, only problem i have is with one of the trainers that is very disrespectful getting in peoples faces, interrupting workouts, and just overall rude. Not a fan of buddy. Had an interaction with him today at 5:53 on the turf and he got in my face which imo is unacceptable. I don’t know why he trains there when he obviously doesn’t have a clue what he’s doing with clients. Has them looking all silly with complete incorrect form. Update: 9/29/24: Seems they have inconsistent opening times on weekends, second time i’ve came at 9am on a Sat/Sun and they’re closed. They need reliable staff…. Pool / Sauna area has still no update, not a tool has been moved. Update:3/30/24: No pool, or sauna, and no eta. Update 2/16/24: They put signage a month ago outside the gym in regard to the time it’s taking for the sauna/pool to reopen. About a week ago they removed it and now we’re getting an i don’t know from staff when it’ll be reopen. Where’s the credit we should be getting on our accounts since November of last year. Unacceptable. They’re spending money on everything BUT what we want, give us back our sauna and steam room.
My name is Jacqueline and i just relocated from New York to Fll. I was a member of 24 Hour Fitness in New York so I was happy that the membership was just a change of location. When I entered the facility this week, I was totally impressed by the cleanliness and the layout. Then I met Trish. OMG!! What a pleasant friendly person. She introduced herself right away and made me feel like I've been here before. She was knowledgeable and answered all my questions without hesitation. She took me on a tour of the facilities, very impressive. I have been back a couple of times and there she is, always welcoming you with a smile. This is definitely my gym now!!
If I could leave negative stars I would. I never signed up for a Crunch membership. I had a 24 hour fitness membership. When I walked into the Plantation Crunch fitness, I was rudely told that I had been signed up without consent. And that in order to cancel I had to pay a monthly fee and a yearly fee. When I informed the staff that I never agreed to a membership I was told that "it's not their problem. And to contact 24 hour fitness" the staff then provided me an email for 24 but I have yet to receive a response. When I asked for a number for Crunch customer service I was told "we don't have one". I have been harassed with calls for the past couple weeks and when I pick up they either put me on hold or immediately hang up. This harassment has to end.
Spoke to Adriane to cancel my membership due to relocation she was patient, understanding and kind and efficient. Did not try to sell me something so I really appreciate that! She promised me she would handle my cancellation personally, despite multiple things going on.
