I booked my room two months in advance. I received a very good rate on the room. A week before my stay I had credit card fraud and the card that I had put for the deposit had to be canceled. I did not realize that the Gail never charged it yet they charge it 24 hours before your visit so of course it got denied. They sent me an email which I did not see saying I had two hours to respond and take care of the bill For my stay the following day. I didn’t see it quick enough and my reservation got canceled. I was freaking out. They confirmed that the reservation had been canceled and when I looked online to book, the same room was now four times The price. I was devastated. I called and spoke with Andrés. He assured me not to worry that their policy is when I get to their hotel the following day I just show them that I had a reservation. Tell them what happened and they honor that reservation since there was a glitch. I still was nervous. When I got to The Gail, I had absolutely no problems. They treated me extremely kind and friendly. I only did they take care of me, but the walk-in rate was a few dollars less than what I had originally booked for. I was ecstatic. my room was ready early. I believe check-in isn’t until 4 PM but I arrived at noon and my room was ready and they allowed me to go to my room. My room was immaculate, pleasing to the eye, and spacious. The room I got was a one bedroom suite with a balcony. The balcony was much larger than I had ever anticipated with chairs and furniture out there to sit on. I haven’t checked out all the other amenities yet so I’ll probably wind up updating this but so far I’m extremely pleased with service and quality.

The hotel has a stylish design and may work well for a short, adults-only weekend getaway. However, I booked a week-long stay and left after just three days due to several practical issues that made the experience inconvenient—especially for out-of-town guests. There were no self-service laundry facilities available, only a laundry service that charged $13 per shirt. The room lacked basic storage space, such as a dresser, and there was no ice machine on the property. Customer service was inconsistent and at times frustrating. Staff were frequently unresponsive when called, and valet service—which costs $75 per night—took six separate calls before bringing the car up. Despite contacting housekeeping twice and being assured my room would be cleaned, it never was. The pool area, while visually appealing, was managed with unnecessarily strict policies. I was told I couldn’t bring in my own water and was required to purchase bottled water from the bar at $6 each. I explained that I am breastfeeding and need to stay hydrated for my milk supply, but staff still refused. Additionally, hotel employees stood at the pool entrance watching guests throughout their swim, which felt intrusive and uncomfortable. While the hotel presents itself as a luxury experience, the service and accommodations fell short of that expectation. I recommend reevaluating policies and investing in staff training, as the true mark of a great hotel is not just the setting—but the service.

Stayed in a 1 bedroom luxury apartment-like room, with kitchen, on the very top floor, and absolutely LOVED my stay here!! Beautiful view, kitchen was giving boujee, loved the cute dining area, as well as the living room, and the view from the bedroom was SPECTACULAR! Bathroom was nice as well and huge! Will definitely consider staying here again during my next trip back to Miami! *however- call and ask how much the FULL deposit will be. It told me the price that was due at check-in and it ended up being 2-3x that. It does get refunded the day you check out though, still was a little shocked. But now I know what to expect next time* DEFINITELY RECOMMEND STAYING HERE IF YOU CAN!!!

We had a nightmare Airbnb host who cancelled at the very last minute and showed no empathy for us being stuck in the city with nowhere to stay. I booked a hotel very last minute with Gale on their website, and they had our room ready immediately. The checking-in service was super quick; I was very pleased. The hotel rooms are spotless and lovely. I was very comfortable during my stay. Thank you.

My friends and I stayed at the Gale Hotel & Residences for vacation and overall had a great experience. The hotel itself is beautiful with very nice rooms and great amenities. The location is also perfect — close to everything we needed. From the moment we arrived, the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, and the security made us feel safe the entire stay. The only downside was that there was no housekeeping during our 6-day stay. With 6 people in one room, it definitely got a bit messy, and by the last day, we ran out of toilet paper. That was a bit frustrating, but honestly, it was the only issue we had. Other than that, it was a great stay and I would still recommend it — just be prepared to tidy up after yourselves if you’re staying for several days.
