Public recreation center featuring a swimming pool for adults and children, plus an auditorium.
Specific, publicly available temperature readings for Jose Marti Pool are not consistently provided online. As a public community pool in Miami's warm climate, its water temperature is generally maintained at a comfortable level suitable for year-round swimming, though precise daily or seasonal temperatures are not typically published.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? This 25-meter, open-air community pool is highly regarded by lap swimmers for its affordability ($3 entry, Apple Pay accepted), cleanliness, and heated water with a lifeguard on duty. Conveniently located near downtown Miami hotels, it offers three dedicated lanes and is often uncrowded, providing a good alternative to hotel pools. However, facilities are basic with super simple changing rooms and no lockers, requiring personal items to be kept poolside. Entry can be confusing, accessed via a park and playground, and the pool itself is noted as a bit dated. While beneficial for lap swimming (weekdays from 6 AM, with aqua aerobics at 10 AM, and specific lap swimming only after 4:30 PM), it is less suitable for general or recreational swimming as most of the pool is often blocked off, leaving only a very small area for non-lap activities, which can be frustrating for children and families. Users are advised to check the city website for schedule changes, especially during summer.

As of 6/13/25, nice 25-meter lap pool serves its purpose! Clean, bench to keep your stuff there. Didn’t check the bathroom.
Visiting Miami for work, I dropped in for a lap swim. Very convenient to hotels in downtown Miami. Difficult to find info so sharing what I found out: - Open for lap swimming weekdays from 6am. Aqua aerobics at 10am - You enter via park and through a playground. It’s a little confusing! - You write your name and entry time on list and pay the attendant $3. Apple Pay accepted. - Changing rooms super basic (hence 4 stars) and no lockers. You put your stuff at the side of the pool. - Pool heated and well maintained with life guard on duty - 25 metres - Better to Uber from Brickell (5 mins) There was only one other person there when I was there so had a whole lane to myself. Blissful with blue skies and 25 degree air temperature. So don’t let the basic nature of it put you off. It’s worth it and way better than hotel options if you want to do lap swimming. Hope this helps business travellers!
Open air pool that belongs to the local community center. Low price (only $3 for an adult) and you get access to a nice pool for it. There aren’t too many lanes and the moment there is more than one person in one lane it gets a bit difficult to do a great exercise. Apart from that I was really happy to find this place.
Great 25m pool. There are 3 dedicated swim lanes. Please check City website for times. Summer schedule changes. Pool is a bit dated and could use a refresh, but it serves its purpose for training.
Very nice park with big pool but they kick everone out of the pool at 4:30 to allow for lap swimming even when no one is there swimming laps. Even when the pool is open for general swimming only a very small area is designated for swimming. The rest of the pool is blocked off. My daughter was very upset that she was not allowed to swim freely in the pool but instead was confined to a very small area of a very large pool. This could be a very nice pool but most of it is wasted space.
