What are people saying (AI review summary)? The communal pool elicits mixed reviews. While many patrons recall fond childhood memories, praising the friendly and professional staff, excellent instructors, and affordable prices, several current issues are highlighted. These include inaccurate online dimensions (25 yards versus 25 meters for the shorter side), outdated lockers in need of refurbishment, and inconsistent water temperatures (sometimes too warm for laps, other times too cold due to a broken heater). The pool's cleanliness has also been compromised by a broken vacuum. Operational difficulties are frequently mentioned, such as unresponsiveness to phone calls (sometimes routed to a fax machine) and challenges in locating the facility. Despite these ongoing maintenance and communication problems, long-time users still strongly recommend the pool's teams and organizations.

Average outdoor communal pool. Website claims its length is 50 meters by 25 meters but the shorter side is actually 25 YARDS long. Lockers are fairly big but in need of a refurbishment. Water a little too warm for my taste, just bearable enough for lap swimming, but does its job. Price is fairly cheap.
The pool is cold right now because the heater has been broken for a while, and last Friday, the bottom was dirty because the vacuum cleaner was also broken. I don't think this will take much money out of the city's budget, so I hope they find a solution. All the employees at the center are friendly, respectful, and professional.
Had me driving around for 15 minutes.
I called three times to ask them if they are open to the public, but no one ever answered. I remember when I was younger going for the summer with my friends and having a blast. Now I wanted to take my children. But I can’t ask anyone if the calls seem to be routed to a fax machine. Does anyone know?
I've been going to this pool since I was a kid. I swam and played water Polo under their amazing instructors. I have also made a lifetime of fond memories at milander and will recommend there teams and organizations to anyone I know.
