About

Public pool offering swimming lessons.

The main Olympic-size pool at Mullins Park Pool is heated to ensure comfortable swimming conditions. A specific temperature in degrees is not publicly disclosed, but its heated status makes it suitable for use during various seasons. The temperature of the kiddie pool is not explicitly stated.

What are people saying (AI review summary)? Mullins Park Pool offers a well-maintained lap pool for serious swimmers and a safe kiddie walk-in pool. Their swim lesson program is highly praised for teaching both children and adults, with specific commendation for instructors like Nicole, and is noted for being affordable compared to other options. However, several significant issues detract from the experience, including limited open pool times, inconsistent communication regarding swim class schedules, cancellations due to rain (with varied make-up approaches), and class duration changes based on attendance (sometimes shortened without clear notice). There are also complaints about staff being unhelpful or rude, particularly concerning access to pool areas and a lack of clear signage for rules. Some patrons reported long waits for lessons, frequent cancellations without prior notification, and difficulties reaching management, leading to wasted time and money despite make-up classes being offered.

🏊‍♂️👶Mullins Park Pool offers a fantastic experience with its well-maintained lap pool, perfect for those looking to get some serious swimming in. Additionally, their kiddie walk-in pool provides a safe and enjoyable space for young ones to splash around. However, it's worth noting that their open pool time might be more limited compared to other local pools, so it's advisable to double-check their schedule before planning a visit. An exciting highlight is their dedication to swim lessons, making it an excellent destination for both beginners and those seeking to improve their skills 🏊‍♂️👶. Make sure to explore their lesson options to make the most of your time at Mullins Park Pool! IG @kidsinflorida Facebook groups #ThingsToDoinFloridawithKids

In my honest opinion starting in 2024 Jan / Feb, signing up my 4-year-old kid for the 2024 Mullins Park swimming class for 45 min with no more than 6 kids per class. when it rains, it cancels for safety reasons - I agree, the swimming teacher will make up by adding 15-minute to 45-minute classes next class. So your class will be 60 min? if only 1 to 2 kids show up they will cut the class to 30 min and then add 15 min for makeup but not inform the parent, by the way, class is usually due to 2 kids it's just 30 min. You show up for 5 minutes and have to wait until the clock says now time will end on time. On another day no sign says classes are going on until 3 pm I came on a Sunday for my kid's class though I brought my 1-year kid with me unfortunately she was sleeping by the class started, so I paid $4+ for myself and what to be at the kid's section just close to her. the other young Spanish teacher woman said you can't be here? Even the nice young man who was teaching my kid and other kids didn't say anything because I was walking back and forth in the 3ft. Water to warm up. I decided to go to the other side with 4.5 ft of water for the next 25 min until I heard my kid's voice and I saw the swimming teacher out of the water and looked at the time and said Saturday they did class 1 hour and today 45 min? What happens to 15 minutes of makeup? anyway, I went into the water where my kid was, and some lady named Navy Spanish said excuse you can't be in the water, where is the class going on? I said to not see the sign on the whiteboard yesterday or today and no one told me that the area is for class only even if no class can’t use it. I ask her please show me a sign. Guess what oh sorry forgot to put it on the whiteboard today, then she asked another person to write on the whiteboard when I was there. Really? I am thinking since my kid is done with class at 1 p.m. my 1 year be up, then I pay for 2 kids and want to spend a few hours at the poo but I couldn’t use the kid section they want me to use 4.5 ft water for infant and 4/5 year kid? Really? oh, sorry kid side is not available until 3p, and I said I don't see the sign for that either. Disappointed with misleading communication, who is to blame? The swimming teacher should say today's class was only 30 min and 15 minutes of makeup due to only 2 kids, I don't know what to say now. It was not right, and they agreed to take me 1 year and 4 years to go into deep water. Or I have to wait until 3p, and they close at 5p Wiles Road weather Splash is close, or I would take my kids there any way my honest opinion make sure to ask a lot of questions and opinion best of luck next time, The staff were nice and kind except for the Navy lady whom I had asked for my name a few times please I gave my name she was like why? The reason I told you I would put a survey on Google about how I felt about everything. It's definitely cheap for the classes $56 vs Goldfish in the Coconut Creek class with 4 kids 30 min a lot.

It ok not too good when I was registered for my son swimming class, I didn't know I had waited long time more than 2 hours for swimming lessons and they not allowed in swimming pool. It was happened 3 times. Probably 200 peoples were waiting to go in swimming pool but no one was allow to go inside. We're waiting outside of the pool no chairs available. We tried to contact with manager but he wasn't available, we waited a long time then back home. They provide make up time but still we spend time, money and came back without swimming lessons and it's happened more than 3times. Now I decided no more Mullins park or Acquitic center for swimming class
