Clean, lifeguarded, community-focused pool for all ages, plus a snack bar, diving board and basketball courts.
Specific temperature information for the pools at the New Providence Community Pool is not consistently published or readily available on their public platforms. While pools are generally maintained at comfortable swimming temperatures during operating hours, precise daily degrees are typically not specified for public disclosure.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? The facility receives mixed reviews, highlighting its diverse offerings. The NP Pool is praised for being immaculately clean, well-managed, having good food, and beautiful facilities. However, some guests express disappointment due to strict and inconsistently enforced rules regarding pool toys, flotation devices, and behavior in the baby pool, which led to negative experiences. Beyond the pool, there is a newly renovated track field, generally open to the public with some schedule variations, and well-regarded basketball courts. The main pool area is noted as a huge community space with multiple sections and a dive tank, though it can get very crowded with limited shaded areas and has a strict no-alcohol policy.

My family and I are new to the area and new members to the NP Pool this year. I just had to take a moment to share just how wonderful this place is. It is immaculately clean, the food to buy is wonderful and it is run beautifully. The manager is always visible and around to chat, checking in on his team and lifeguards. I cannot recommend it highly enough!
I’m sorry to say I’m a little bit disappointed with the experience we had here yesterday. I will start by saying the pool is beautiful, well maintained, snack bar is great, but the number of seemingly kind of silly rules was very off putting. My parents recently joined this pool, and I was thinking of joining myself as we are still pretty local and I have fond memories from years past. So we went as guests. The waiver took about 15 mins to fill out and within 15 minutes of arriving there, we were told my 2 year old nephew could not wear his puddle jumper (I have heard other pools have this rule for safety/choking reasons, so I was OK with this). Then, a couple of minutes later, we were called out for his pool toys being prohibited. These include included a few gems in a little treasure chest that would sink to the bottom of the baby pool for him to spot and pick up and a reusable water balloon. We kind of shrugged and put the things away, but within 30 minutes, I saw another family playing with the EXACT same type of toys with no callout by the (now different) lifeguard. My daughter was also kind of army crawling in the baby pool and again the whistle blue with the message “walk or get out.” By that point, I I started to feel that we were kind of being targeted (not sure why) and we ended up leaving early. Safe to say we won’t be joining, which is disappointing, as I had very high hopes for a fun summer here.
Beautiful newly done track field now open to the public. A wonderful early morning walk today! Can't wait to go back. Track open to public on weekends, unless there is an event. More hours, too, but I don't know complete schedule. Today, some folks were playing Extreme Frisbee on the field. Nice to see so many enjoying this perfect day!
Huge community pool, with multiple areas for different skill and age levels, including a dive tank. Usually very crowded in the summer, with very limited shaded areas around the perimeter of the pools. Competitive swim and dive teams. Strict no alcohol policy. Food shack on site. Recently added basketball courts, and plenty of parking.
Fantastic basketball court is always down to challenge anyone to a 3pt contest there
