Took the grandkids today to Classic Waterslides. This was perfect for all of the kids in our group from 9 - 14 years old. I’m glad they allow the kids to get a little creative - they can use a mat or go without. Some of them went down backwards. I think the only time they were told they couldn’t do something was when 3 of them made a “train”. I think the max they allow at a time is 2 people. It is staffed by mostly teenagers but they were all nice and professional. It wasn’t too busy and no waiting in long lines! The kids had so much fun they wanted to go again tomorrow! Wishing now I would have bought season passes!
Summer isn’t summer without this place, we love the prices, old school slides, giant laughs and smiles. Plenty of shade from nearby trees when you have some really little ones and plenty of sun deck area for tanning. Concessions are reasonable and clean bathrooms. Smells like sunscreen and fresh pretzels as you walk up to any of the 3 main slides that span the park. Lines are quick and has “classic” water park vibes.
Definitely fun for the thrill seakers! Not a lot to do besides slides. But is nice cause the path you wait on for slides is shaded! Has several sizes of slides. Only complaint is they definitely don't have enough staff. I only saw 3 total. No one watching the kids section at all.
Very fun waterslides! 3 large slides built into the hillside with optional mats to slide on, two smaller slides, and a younger kid area. There are no wading pools, just the slides but still lots of fun! Plenty of tables, chairs, and shady spots to sit. The large slides can be fast and a bit rough for adults 😅😂 so use some caution there. Several sides are set up for 2 riders so lots of opportunities to ride with a friend or with your kiddo. Lifeguards are young, and honestly they need a few more posted in order to keep things safe, (especially the wide blue 'racing' slide) but otherwise great! Good value for the price, and thankfully it's free to just observe if you don't want to slide. Affordable snack, treat, and ice cream options as well.
We were in Ogden for the day and stopped by the last hour pass. For just $12 my child and I had lots of laughs, water up our noses and thrills. The slides are surprisingly scary! A good thrill even for a young teen! We will be back next time we are in the area!
