What are people saying (AI review summary)? This hotel receives highly mixed reviews, often depending on the room location and individual experience. Many guests praise the friendly and helpful staff, especially at the front desk, and note that valley-facing rooms can be clean, spacious, and comfortable. Amenities such as the pool, jacuzzi, mini-fridges, microwaves, laundry room, and business center are appreciated. However, numerous significant complaints are consistently raised. Room quality varies drastically, with back/courtyard-facing rooms often described as less clean, smaller, musty, noisy (due to thin walls or loud AC), and having very small TVs. A major point of contention is the $16 parking fee, which many find excessive and irritating. Cleanliness is a frequent issue, with some guests reporting sticky floors, stained linens, and even cockroaches. Bathroom towels are widely criticized for being small, rough, or low quality. The on-site restaurant food is frequently deemed terrible and overpriced, particularly for breakfast, while bar food and service are inconsistent. Other annoyances include non-closing bathroom doors, warm rooms upon arrival, and poor-quality complimentary toiletries. There are also reports of poor communication regarding deposit fees and instances where forgotten items were not returned, leading to suspicions of theft. Overall, guests characterize the hotel as average, offering 'you get what you pay for' value – better than a budget motel but far from a premium experience.

Stayed here three separate times for Business trips. First and second time, it was amazing - but we stayed in Valley facing rooms. They were clean, spacious, and bed was clean and super comfortable. Couple of things that were annoying that could be changed - bathroom door does not stay open and refrigerator is not on when you enter room so you have to wait for it to get cold. Also, room is warm when you enter - have to turn on AC. Shampoo and soap sucks, be sure to bring your own. The one time that we stayed that was not the greatest - the room was in the back and faced courtyard. TV was super small, you couldn't hear it but you could hear the TV blaring from the room next door bcuz the speaker is in the back of the console. The towels are tiny, be sure to bring your own. Its not terrible for the price, but like everyone is ranting about on here, the parking is a bit ridiculous, the hotel would be smart to just up the cost a little, the fee is unnecessary and just pisses people off. It's not the worst, but not the best either. Customer service at the counter is great, they went above and beyond to accommodate my needs and requests. The hotel smells clean and fresh up front and in the rooms facing Valley. Towards the back, it smells old and musty and is hot in the hallways. The restaurant and bar, it's hit and miss. Terrible food at the restaurant for the expensive price. You would be happier going somewhere else to eat. We were charged 50 bucks for a tiny breakfast that was terrible. Totally not worth it. The bars food wasn't too bad at night but depends on what server you get, some are willing to give great service, others don't care and wont come back to your table and tell you no when you know they can accommodate. I would say its definitely better than Motel 6 but it ain't the Hilton. You get what you pay for.
We stayed here 3 nights, 4 days. The room was adequate, clean and we liked having the two beds, mini fridge, microwave and recliner chair in our room. We were on the back side of the hotel, so view was just of hills, trees, and some pkg spaces. The AC unit was ok, but it is loud at night while you're sleeping. It did keep the room cool and comfortable. Shower over tub, and hot water for without any issues. Bath towels were smaller, and rough feeling in texture. Front desk staff, maintenance and housekeeping were all very friendly and helpful. Pool area and jacuzzi was nice, and the tables with umbrellas and recliners chairs were comfortable. Plenty of parking, with a fee of $16 per night parking fee at this time. Wifi was adequate in the room, and the sundry market by the front desk area handy. They also had guest laundry room and business ctr which was nice to have when staying longer.
This place was so dirty. The floors were so sticky and gross. I dont think they clean their rooms the bed sheets had white stains on the red liners and after showing the steams revealed all sorts of writing on the mirrors. To top it off during my stay the smoke detector started alarming around 4am kept going until I checked out. Also when I checked in the lady mentioned there will be charge of $116.00 for a deposit but never mention that they will be keeping $16 are only returning $100. This hotel need to be cleaned better and have better communication! I will never return to this Hotel ever again!!!!
DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!! We stayed at this overrated hotel on June 19th. When we paid for the room, we were charged an extra $16 to park our car there. That's just stupid!! There was a dead cockroach on the bathroom floor. The TV wasn't much bigger than a computer monitor. Everything was clean, but that's about it. The towels in the bathroom must have been from the Dollar Store because they were possibly the worst towels I've ever used. Every hotel we stayed at during our three week vacation provided a breakfast, not this one. There was a restaurant on site, but very expensive. During our packing up to check out on the morning of the 20th, I unfortunately forgot to grab our expensive power toothbrush charging station. I realized it later that day when we checked into our hotel in Redding. When I called to report our forgotten item, I was given the runaround and told to contact a day manager named Sandy. She also gave me the runaround and said the item hadn't been found. I was then told to call the controller named Marcia. She at least gave our situation a moderate level of attention and said that they have a detailed list of who cleans each room. She said she would look into it and get back to me, which she did the next day. Unfortunately, nothing was reported as being found, which tells me the service person stole it. My suggestion for you is to avoid staying here and definitely don't leave anything behind, because you won't see it again.
I've stayed here twice now. The rooms are average but nice, had a few plumbing issues, as soon as I let them know, it was delt with. Service was always friendly.
