Some of these reviews are unfair. If you're paying such a low price for a hotel and expecting it to be boutique standard, you've gone wrong somewhere. The room was spotless and modern, the pool area was stunning, the breakfast was great. All of these things have to come at a cost if you're paying less than $200/night. Our only criticism is that (like most other hotels we've stayed in in the states!) the rooms were not soundproof at all. The door didn't even fit into the doorframe properly - so clearly the establishment has been built in a hurry. It's a high end motel style place to stay, but we were very pleased with our visit.
I really want to like this hotel, especially since it seemed like such a unique option for short-term visits at a reasonable price. The rooms smell. They SMELL. As someone with hospitality experience, this is because they don’t properly clean their carpets. We had ants in our bathroom, a ton of dead gnats in our shower, and some sort of small cockroach near our bed (pictured below). The front desk staff are not properly trained. They did not know much about the hotel they work for. The beds are comfortable, the pool/outdoor courtyard is surprisingly beautiful, and you can’t beat the cost. However, just spend the extra $100 and stay in a Hyatt. Also, $10 for parking a night?!?! You’re joking.
This is a low budget motel trying to look like a resort. The courtyard area is nice and it’s a nice place for parties to gather. However, when it’s time to go back to the room or interact with the staff, that’s where the good ends. We had quite a few rooms reserved for a wedding party (I think around 45 rooms). Many of us didn’t get cleaning service at all for the days we were there even if we asked for it. They don’t have any maintenance after hours so if there is a problem after 5 or 6 pm, nothing can be done. Not one person I spoke to in our party had something positive to say about the “hotel.” Don’t stay here!! Even the staff at the front desk doesn’t really care. You want a manager to contact you? Ha!! Never going to happen. Stay elsewhere!!!
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and found that the hotel met our basic needs. The courtyard view was beautiful and refreshing, offering a peaceful atmosphere surrounded by lush greenery. However, as expected with natural surroundings, there were quite a few bugs—though this is no reflection on the hotel’s cleanliness. The complimentary breakfast was a highlight. It was tasty, convenient, and helped us save both time and money. Offerings included eggs, cereal, oatmeal, biscuits and gravy, muffins, coffee, breakfast potatoes, toast or bagels, as well as fruit and yogurt. The on-site restaurant, which also includes a bar, provided a pleasant dining experience. While the portions were on the smaller side for the price, it was still a nice convenience. The pool area was a great bonus, featuring cabanas and even a ping pong table for entertainment. The location was also very convenient—right off the highway and directly across the street from a grocery store and gas station. The main downside for us was the bedding. The beds were extremely firm—almost like sleeping on concrete—and the pillows were just average. Unfortunately, my entire family woke up each day with backaches or neck pain. Because of this, we would likely not return unless the mattress situation improves. If you do choose to stay here, we highly recommend bringing something to enhance your sleep comfort.
Budget note that is over priced. Carpet in room was filthy and when I arrived the room had the heat on at 80 degrees in summer. My friends had other complaints about their rooms. Complimentary breakfast is essentially powered eggs etc. again, this is fine if they are honest about their offerings but they are attempting to appear better than they are. Nice courtyard and pool but that’s really it.
