What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reviews for the pool are mixed, with several positive aspects highlighted alongside significant criticisms. Positive feedback includes appreciation from new residents for the well-maintained facility, crystal clear water, the presence of lifeguards, a dedicated shallow area (1-3 feet) for small children and first-time swimmers, friendly staff, and a separate section for adult lap swimming. However, there is strong negative feedback regarding a new policy, reportedly under YMCA ownership, requiring adult swimmers to have a family member sign a permission slip, which is seen as unnecessary for grown adults. Other complaints include a perceived lack of adequate supervision, particularly regarding safety policies like not requiring life jackets for supervised toddlers while allowing pool noodles. Some users also found restrictions on items that can be brought in, encountered unruly individuals ('punks'), and were disappointed by the limited depth of the children's pool (only 3 feet) without access to deeper sections.

If I could give 1/2 a star I would it’s BS a grown adult needs to have someone else a family member to sign a permission paper to swim here because the YMCA owns it now! For Christ sake let grown adults swim. On there own no permission 🤬🤬🤬🤬😤😤😤😤😡😡😡😡🤯🤯🤯🤯
So we can have all the noodles and not have a life jacket for a 2 yr old thats being supervised by their mother???? Asinine is an understatement I am sure my tax paying dollars can do better than that!!!! especially when nobody said anything except for the curly haired “supervisor” that was barely doing his job anyways…. when the kid throws up in the pool and cries every one blame the “supervisor” on July 3rd…..
We are new to the area and having this public pool for residents is awesome. Lifeguards on duty is a great for parents with more than one child. The pool is been well maintained and the water is crystal clear. I love the separated area for small children. The one foot to three foot depth is outstanding for first time swimmers and learning to swim. The staff are friendly and our experience was lovely. Looking forward to our next swim.
I love the separate section for adult lap swimming
Nice pool but you can't bring much and when we went thare were a lot of punks and when we went to the little pool it only whet 3 feet deep and I couldn't go in the five foot area I would go again but it could be better
