Great family fitness center with nearly every amenity and activity you can think of. The gym is well organized and clean with attentive staff. And the prices are great considering everything that’s included. However, I can’t give it a 5 star rating because of how limited their weight and strength training areas are and how long I had to wait to use equipment. It was rare when I had to wait less than 15 minutes for a bench or rack and I eventually gave up trying to find space in the stretching area post workout to cool down. And their DBs max out at 120lb, which is an easy signal that it’s not well suited for people focused on strength training. Note: I have visited here three times while traveling because family members use it. Also, I was there between 5 am and 7 am each time.
We love this place, very nice pools, slides, indoor and outdoor areas, gym, multipurpose rooms… but lately the kids pools have a lot of patches…
These new facilities are really impressive and a massive improvement from the older building. This place was great. Friendly customer service, clean facilities, well maintained machines, huge and expanded pool, basketball courts, and all around big place. The track is much better than before, with cows out windows instead of downstairs in the dark. I do miss the old rec center in some respects, especially the plethora of racquetball courts - There are only 4 of them in these new facilities. Other than that, it’s a great option for recreational and exercise activities. No complaints.
I really enjoy this gym, it's quite large and has a lot of activities for kids and adults. My one comment is ALL of the ads for gym events are tailored to only a white population. My daughter is half black, half white, and all I see when I see these ads is that she is not considered cute enough or pretty enough to be a cheerleader, a dancer, or a gymnast. I have added ALL of the ads except for one that I missed (a white guy doing a dead lift) so you can see for yourself what I'm talking about. There is a LOT of diversity in this gym including white, black, Hispanic, and Pacific Islander. It's a shame this isn't represented here.
Brought the kids here on a Saturday night at 7 for a swim. They loved the play area that had a slide and water sprinklers. They had lots of lifeguards which was good. And I like the large private dressing rooms that families can use. Don't forget the flip flops. Nice huge hot tub too!
