Outdoor recreational facility offering a waterslide, diving boards, and an obstacle course.
Specific, consistently published temperature readings for the pool(s) at the Pleasant Grove Veterans Memorial Pool are not generally provided or regularly updated on public-facing platforms. However, as an outdoor community facility, the water is typically maintained at a comfortable swimming temperature throughout its operational summer season.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? This pool is generally highly recommended for families, offering areas for all ages including a section for young children, open lanes, a diving area, and a popular blow-up obstacle course. Reviewers appreciate the shaded seating under canopies, the cleanliness, and the good price point. However, several concerns were raised: lifeguards are perceived as very strict regarding swimming rules (e.g., proximity to children, no lap sliding, no personal floaties), and there's a strict swim diaper policy. A significant point of distress for some families, especially those with neuro-divergent children, is the frequent 15-30 minute lifeguard breaks taken every couple of hours, which are seen as disruptive and not productive for safety checks. Additionally, some visitors desired a deeper main pool, as it only goes to 4 feet.

This pool is amazing for the entire family! They have an area for littles, the lanes are opened up (no ropes) for everyone, and the diving area is available for all. When I was there, they even had a blow up obstacle course at the deep end of the pool for your thrill seeking family members. I especially loved all of the chairs set out under a canopy so that you had reprieve from the sun. It made it nice to be able to let my baby sleep without fear of burning. The price point is great too! I highly recommend this pool!!
It's fine. Not sure why everyone's complaining about the lifeguards being understaffed; there were 10 there when I went with my daughter this morning! And they sure are strict. They didn't let me swim too close to her, too far from her, or slide down the water side with her in my lap. They also don't allow personal floaties or toys. Also, the front desk makes you by an extra swim diaper if your kid isn't already in three layers!
This pool is fine, not too deep, pretty clean. Be cautious of bringing any neuro-divergent children because of the unnecessary breaks they take, which causes distress for my autistic son. Every couple of hours the lifeguards take a 15-30 swim session where they seem to waste time getting in the water, take a break, and cool off. You would think they were taking this time to check the pool for any hazards, but it appears to be the opposite.
Enjoyed very much. We went on the free day. We were given very short notice, but it was nice. The main pool only goes to 4 ft. It would be nice to have a little deeper section.
Great set up for the whole family. The obstacle course is fun. Many spots for all ages to have fun.
