Fitness center with an Olympic-size pool, therapy pool, racquetball courts, and a variety of classes.
HealthQuest features an indoor heated lap pool typically maintained at 80-82°F (26.7-27.8°C), and a warm water therapy pool kept at a higher temperature, usually around 90-92°F (32.2-33.3°C).
What are people saying (AI review summary)? This gym receives overwhelmingly positive reviews, consistently praised for its friendly and knowledgeable staff, welcoming atmosphere, and comprehensive facilities. Members appreciate the wide variety of equipment, including cardio, strength machines, cycling rooms, pickleball courts, steam rooms, and particularly the excellent pool areas (lap, therapy, hot tub) and challenging water classes. The gym is noted for its cleanliness, focus on overall wellness, and affordability, especially for those utilizing insurance programs like SilverSneakers. While some minor feedback indicated a desire for more variations in gym machines, the primary negative point raised is a significant parking problem due to sharing a lot with other medical offices, occasionally causing inconvenience. A temporary pool closure for construction was also noted as a minor, temporary drawback.

This is a very solid and great gym. The environment isn’t tense and the gym provides basically everything you need for your fitness goals. My only issues would be there not being enough different variations of gym machines but you can still work all your muscles out efficiently. Would recommend to anyone especially if you’re a beginner. Friendly staff too
I loveeeeeee this gym. We looked for gym options with a pool and kept coming across the Y, which has really high prices and low reviews. This one popped up one day and my boyfriends insurance cuts the price in half! Even at full price it would be worth every cent. This is exactly what I always hoped to find in a gym and more. I could live in the therapy pool, it's so fantastic. The lap pool is great. The hot tub is great. The gym and machines are wonderful and everything is clean. Love that it's more therapeutic feeling overall than your typical pump iron, get sweaty gym. Great staff. Overall just absolutely excellent.
Just joined recently and really like the variety here. Tons of cardio and strength equipment, a cycling room, pickleball courts, steam rooms, and even licensed massage therapists on-site. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The pool area is closed right now (August and September) for construction, which was a bit of a letdown, but I’m looking forward to using it when it reopens. It’s located inside the Johnston Medical Mall, which also has a walking course through the building. You don’t need a membership to use that, and it’s a nice bonus for staying active, especially in bad weather. They accept SilverSneakers, Silver & Fit, and the FitOn program with BCBS Medicare supplement plans, which made joining easy and affordable. Great place to focus on wellness, not just working out.
I really love coming to this center. It has everything I need for all my different workout days. The other members are always friendly and say hello, which makes the environment feel so welcoming. The staff are also super nice and helpful.
We have really enjoyed this gym. It has a lot offer. We especially enjoy the water classes which can be challenging. The instructers are fantastic. They always have plenty of towels and showers to use after your work out. In the past month we have noticed a real problem with parking. This gym is in a building with several medical offices, a medical suppy store and a cafe. On at least one occasion after circling the parking lot (along with dozens of others) we left. I really wish they had an overflow parking lot. This is the only reason for the 4 stars.
