Swim complex featuring 3-4 FT of water for kids, plus a diving board and a slide.
Specific temperature information for St. Ledger's Pool is not readily available. As an outdoor community pool, its temperature generally fluctuates with the ambient weather conditions and is primarily unheated, warming naturally throughout the summer season.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? The Ledger pool generally offers a large swimming area with features like a slide, diving board, lap lanes, and a dedicated shallow area for young children. It provides good amenities including a new playground, covered rental areas, ample parking, and plenty of seating, making it a convenient 'mom and kids paradise' for many. While some visitors appreciate the location, pleasant surroundings, and friendly staff, a major point of contention is the inconsistent and arbitrary enforcement of rules by lifeguards. Patrons reported issues with unfair swim tests, varying access rules for the slide and diving board, perceived double standards in rule application (e.g., alcohol/water guns allowed despite online rules, adult vs. child enforcement), and a focus on supervised families while unsupervised teenagers were left unchecked. These inconsistencies have led to frustrating experiences, particularly for families, resulting in a lack of 'family fun' for some.

Visited the Ledger pool twice with our family and 4 kids. My husband and I are always in the water with the kids, supervising as well as playing. We are not those parents letting their kids do whatever. First time, all 4 kids enjoyed the slide and diving board. But then the rules started to change And change, and change and change until we ended up leaving. We obeyed every posted rule but it felt as if the “lifeguards” pick and chose who to pick on and make up rules for. Went back a second time and immediately were told the kids couldn’t do the slide or diving board. 3 can touch in the 4 foot area by the online rules and shouldn’t be made to do a “swim test” and the youngest is 44” and can pass the swim test but since she’s not 4 foot they wouldn’t allow it. But what was even more ridiculous was the “big boys” who were well over 250lbs doing cannon balls off the diving board couldn’t pass the same swim test. After much discussion they allowed our oldest to do the swim tests and they passed with ease but by that point everyone was in tears. Absolutely zero “family fun”. Also online it says no alcohol or water guns but those are both allowed while we were there in plain site? Appropriate swim wear was a joke when 2 female life guards had thong bottoms on. All the teenagers were unsupervised and rude. But yet our kids (all under the age of 9) were causing the issues for having fun while be adult supervised the entire time. If it’s swim at your own risk then leave us alone.
There's a large swimming area with stairs that goes up to 5ft. This is connected to the diving well which is connected to the lap lanes that include a slide. Covered area by check in can be rented at reasonable rates and there's a nice new playground right behind. Walking distance from many neighborhoods via trail. Ample parking, and tanning chairs and picnic tables with umbrellas galore! Mom and kids paradise!
Lifeguards are friendly and they have a great 3-4 FT area for little kids plus a slide and diving board for older kids.
Absolutely the most wonderful experience with the ability to let your dogs enjoy the pool and have a good time for the last pool day of the year
Great location, pleasant surroundings & staff. Enjoyed my visit!
