Popular public pool featuring a 25-yard pool, shaded zones, and a playground.
Specific official pool temperatures for the Jerry Fox Swim Center are not explicitly published on the Cosumnes Community Services District website. However, similar public recreational swim centers typically maintain their pools at comfortable temperatures, often ranging between 80-82 degrees Fahrenheit (26.7-27.8 degrees Celsius).
What are people saying (AI review summary)? The pool is generally described as nice, clean, and not overly crowded, offering amenities such as picnic tables with shade, a grassy area, and a dry playground, which is a hit with younger children. While a water slide is present, several reviewers note it is frequently non-operational. Parking is ample. However, a significant negative incident involved an alleged theft by staff and a supervisor's reported failure to adequately investigate. There are also suggestions for earlier seasonal and daily opening times (May 1st and 9 am) to better serve the community and create jobs, noting the pool is part of a larger park offering diverse recreational activities.

Nice pool. Not too Crowded for a weekend. There is no slide though.
Very nice pool. Clean water, plenty of picnic tables (with umbrella/shade), nice grassy area, and a nice (dry) playground! My youngest son doesn’t care for pools/water but he really enjoyed the playground in the facility! Slide never works when we’re there for some reason 😕. Minus one star for never having had the opportunity to try it.
There is a water slide. The pool is not to big but there is plenty of room for the kids to have a blast. There are picnic tables under the trees, so there is some shaded areas. It is clean and there is plenty of parking around.
Took granddaughter here for a one week Swim Camp. Everything was great til the final day, Friday June 21st when one of the staff stole my newly purchased straw hat WITH THE PRICE TAG STILL ON IT!!!! When I talked to Shay, who said she was a Supervisor, she failed to follow through and thoroughly investigate my report!! Of you go there, LOOK AROUND AND MAKE SURE YOU GATHER AAAALL YOUR BELONGINGS BECAUSE SOMEONE THERE IS A THIEF!!! If you lose something there, the Staff isn't concerned about returning it.
A Spacious, Relaxed and Chill Park for walks, picnics, meditation, lunch break,a nap on the grass, game of chess/backgammon on the grass under so many trees, catch a baseball/softball game at designated fields in the park, a BMX course at the outskirt, skateboard? Or a dip in the pool when it’s open may25th/26th…why so late? Elk Grove Park Administration should open the pools earlier perhaps on May1st to make it accessible for those in the community that are not in schools. would love a 9am opening, it would create beneficial jobs for lifeguards a month earlier &would be much appreciated. I am certain like so many elder Elk-Grovians in the community that it’s a no-brainer to open the Pools May1st & 9am Monday thru Sunday….it’s not just for the kids! Wake-Up ElkGrove admnstrs!
