Relaxed park offering a pool for swimming and wading sessions as well as basketball/volleyball and squirrels to feed.
The pools at Tahoe Park Pool are typically heated to a comfortable recreational temperature, generally maintained around 80-82 degrees Fahrenheit (27-28 degrees Celsius) for the comfort of swimmers.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? The park offers a good pool, which is generally considered clean and great for kids, though one review noted varying cleanliness and chlorine levels on different days. The pool has a fun deep area and a wading pool, but no slides or diving boards. Lifeguards are attentive, and people largely maintain distance. The park itself is great for families, with a kids' playground, benches, and a volleyball area, attracting many dog walkers and joggers. A unique aspect is the abundance of spoiled squirrels, often fed by regulars. However, the Tahoe parking area has a noticeable homeless population, and the bathrooms are described as disgusting, lacking basic supplies like toilet paper, seat covers, and soap, prompting visitors to bring their own.

It really a good pool and it super clean
Tahoe parking has a lot of homeless people that sit around which most of them keep to themselves & not bother you & some keep themselves inside the bathrooms for long periods of time , the bathrooms are disgusting there's no toilet paper or seat covers no soap to wash your hands so bring your own if you visit the park , a lot of people who walk their animals and jog around the park it does have kids playground benches through out the park & a volleyball area
Very clean , great for kids
Went 6/18-20 each day w 11 & 13 yo kids who are swimmers. Sunday pool seemed cleaner. More plentiful or recent chlorine. Good crowd. Ppl mostly distanced out of water so no masks. Lifeguards seem very on it. Great swim time but pretty basic facility w no board or slide. Fun deep area in pool corner. Wading pool is close by. No refreshments available but Village Drive In and Tallac Village shops are nearby.
Great park! Lots of people walking their dogs, jogging and feeding squirrels! Squirrels are definitely spoiled! There are some people who come with bags of food for the squirrels. They must be regulars, because a HERD of them came running from all parts of the park when they saw these visits. I counted 12 squirrels in one group! Great place for kids to ruin and play and just be kids!!
