Do not expect the water slide to work even if they tell you it is over the phone. Called ahead to make sure the water slide was on and working...we found out when we got here with all the kids that the slide had not been on and won't be turned on because they don't have enough life guards. This is our third and last time coming here with the same goal and disappointment. Do not expect the water slide to work. P.s. there is a life guard right there in the photo watching the empty pool section where the slide ends.
Excellent and friendly front desk service. To all the people complaining about teenage lifeguards- I implore YOU to apply. Being a lifeguard over 18 is not feasible. It’s the perfect job for teenagers. It teaches responsibility, patience and stamina. There’s a reason there aren’t 40 year old lifeguards. This job doesn’t pay enough to support family’s or buy houses. It’s an entry-level job.
I’ve been working out here every morning. I got a month pass. I might switch to a CrossFit gym for a more intense workout. This place is good for a basic workout or a light swim with the kids. You have to make friends with the pickleball mafia if you wanna play. They have basketball courts but I don’t play so can’t comment on them other than they look clean. This place is very clean. It isn’t the kind of gym you go for an intense workout with friends. It is usually filled with older folk (super proud of them!) So I’ve got to be careful if I’m sprinting the track or if I’m doing a lap swim. I feel uncomfortable doing too much. Like I’m going to run into someone or disturb their chill workout. They have yoga and other classes, I think. Overall it’s excellent for what it offers.
This facility is older but most things are in great working order. I love to use the gym here. There are a lot of machines and weights for different interests and levels of training. I also really like the pool. Just outside of the locker rooms they have a swimsuit dryer that spins the water out. The showers in the locker rooms are a nice size so you can change. They also have dedicated changing areas with curtains. I wish they had a more activitiesfor children that are too old to go to the daycare but too young to participate in the gym. The pool is fun but a climbing area with slides and other indoor activities for children would be great.
I had a blast with a 4 yr old and toddler. We love the walk in pool. They have free life vests. I liked the splash fountain. We also liked the family bathroom. The 4 year old enjoyed swim lessons with the coach. The bathrooms needed cleaning and that's why only 4 stars. They have an adults only hot tub. There are many seniors here, I love that!
