What are people saying (AI review summary)? The facility receives mixed but generally positive reviews. Patrons praise its excellent pool, well-maintained equipment, and strong support for disabled athletes. It's considered a convenient 'second home' for hockey families and offers inexpensive gym access. However, common complaints include severe crowding, especially in the weight room, and a quickly filling parking lot. Other issues noted are unhelpful vending machines, staff at the front desk sometimes lacking detailed membership knowledge, and in one instance, unhelpful or rude front desk service. Despite these points, the facility is often described as beautiful and fantastic.

This is our second home pretty much since our boys play hockey. We do have the yearly pass so it is very convenient to workout while kids are practicing. The machines are well kept and plenty of equipment. The parking lot can fill up quickly. Don't use the vending machines as we have had issues more than a couple times with them not working. The staff has always been super polite but certain membership questions they don't know and will refer you to call the number on the slco website.
Inexpensive, but very crowded. I would rather pay more money to not have to wait to use gym equipment. They have a huge group fitness classroom right next to the weight training area that is almost always empty. Meanwhile, everyone is packed into a small weight room.
Excellent and fantastic facility! The people and administration are outstanding and also extremely accommodating to disabled individuals and help promote disabled athletes. Love this place!!!
This is the best pool in the valley. Don’t let too many people know about it because it’ll get overrun, when the outdoor long course opens in the summer time I am a very happy boy. Catch the belly flop contests every third Friday of the month.
First time here today for a hockey game. Didn’t quite know where to go upon entering the building so decided to stop and ask the front desk ladies. She was visibly put off that we’d asked her for help. Came over and pointed to the boards that listed the teams and then left. Still confused, thankfully someone watching it all happen came over after she left and helped us figure out which rink and then guided us to where the spectators could enter the stands to watch the game. Beautiful facility, but a little consideration and willingness to help others is necessary if you have someone sitting at a front “help” desk and this was certainly not her morning.
