Community center with fitness classes, indoor and outdoor pools, early childhood education, and more.
The JCC's lap pool is typically maintained at a temperature of 80-82°F (26.7-27.8°C), while its warm water or therapy pool is usually heated to 92-94°F (33.3-34.4°C).
What are people saying (AI review summary)? The JCC receives mixed reviews, highlighting both strong positives and significant areas for improvement. Many members praise the well-maintained gym facilities, natural light in workout areas, indoor basketball courts, and a good range of amenities. The staff, particularly in the early childhood center, are frequently commended for being caring, nurturing, and knowing members by name, creating a positive environment for families. Some also appreciate the knowledgeable personnel, a great coffee shop, and healthy food options. However, several critical issues are raised. A major concern is cleanliness, with multiple complaints about uncleaned fitness studios, gyms, and locker rooms, noting sweat and a general lack of sanitization. Operational hours are a drawback for some, with the 9 PM closing time being too early. The gym can also become uncomfortably hot in summer. Significant value concerns are expressed regarding the high monthly cost, especially given the absence of a pool for most of the year and a critique of the fitness classes. These classes are described as sporadic, potentially taught by non-certified or unfit instructors, sometimes incurring additional costs, and having limited evening/weekend availability. Management is also criticized for being perceived as prioritizing money over member experience and for having policies that allow membership termination without refunds, contributing to a feeling of neglect among some members.

Love this place, I mainly come to hit a workout at their gym. Been coming for 2 years. They have a lot of great amenities and great staff. What stops it from 5 stars is the hours. I work pretty late and have to race there to get a workout in before 9. The summer heat can also be brutal in the gym, they try and mitigate it with fans but it only helps a little. but overall great facility, good gym, good staff, would recommend to others.
The JCC (and particularly the early childhood center) is one of the best things in my family’s life at the moment. Staff genuinely love my kids. Remember their names. And go out of their way to nurture and educate. Could not recommend it more highly.
Everything about this place has gone downhill. Does no one clean the fitness studios, the gyms or the lockers? I watched a guy in my aerobics class drip sweat globs all over the floor and mat, then walk away. Gross. I was the last person out and not a single person came into clean. The same with the weightroom and the pickleball court- no one wipes anything down. The only attendants in the place are a couple of nice college kids at the front desk who smile and wave then go back to their screens. You walk around the space and although there are plenty of members, it feels vacant and neglected. Not to mention their sporadic fitness classes. With no pool September-May, can you really justify $95-175/mo for two strength classes in the morning and one at 6p, and no evening classes at all Thursday-Sunday?? They may claim a certain number of "fitness" classes but they're either a) an additional cost like pilates or b)water 'moves', yoga or 6a spin. Not to mention that the JCC classes are often taught by non-certified, out of shape U students who seem to have gotten their routines from YouTube. To be clear, I'm not nor have I ever cared about a person's size. I'm just not up for taking a fitness class from someone who isn't fit. Would you see a dermatologist with bad skin? The JCC management is more interested in collecting your money than providing an exceptional, sanitary experience. They act like they are doing you a favor instead of the other way around. Be careful you don't complain. They will cancel your membership and keep your money if you have prepaid. "We reserve the right to terminate your membership for any reason at our discretion". Best to find an actual gym that respects its members.
My wife works here and it's the sweetest place to come. It's also so incredibly efficient in supplying what we need to stay active and a personnel that have a WIDE birth of knowledge to help us thrive at any age. A great coffee shop, and a great place to buy some healthy food.
My husband and I love working out here. The cardio and weight rooms have tons of natural light and everything is clean and well maintained. We also enjoy the indoor basketball courts and fitness classes. All of the instructors are so nice and welcoming.
