Lighthouse Point Splash Zone at Hogle Zoo in Salt Lake City, UT, is a seasonal water play area designed for children and families. It features various sprayers, dumping buckets, and shallow splash areas, offering a refreshing break during warm weather. The splash zone is part of the larger Lighthouse Point exhibit, which also includes marine animals like seals and sea lions, providing an interactive and fun environment.
As a splash pad rather than a traditional swimming pool, the Lighthouse Point Splash Zone typically uses ambient temperature water. Specific heated pool temperatures are generally not maintained or advertised for such unheated, outdoor water play areas.

Due to covid splash pad was closed but it still was fun we were able to get food and drinks we went on the train they are doing a great job of keeping everything sanitized we did have A great time and since you schedule a time to go the parking is amazing for the first time ever in 40 years I got to park near the entrance .
This is a perfect addition for the hot summer season. My son had a blast last summer. The slide and everything about it is super well made and well thought out. Everyone appeared to have a great time. I hope it is open this coming summer but who knows with Covid 19.
Closed because of snow and ice, however, it looked like a fun place for kids. I'm an adult, so I of course wasn't going to play on it, but for those who have kids, it's definitely a great place to visit.
