In Nov of 2024 I had a full spine, spinal fusion. I chose Sandy Physical Therapy & Aquatics due to their expertise in pool therapy. Their pool is warm, staff top flight & caring; the experience has been everything I had hoped for. Highly recommend them.
Such a wonderful addition to working through my pain and weaknesses from chronic illness!! Raquel is my PT and she is sooo good at her job!! I’m feeling strength in places I haven’t had strength for a long time. It’s a slow process, but it is the intervention I definitely need at this time. The pool is clean and warm. The equipment is clean and organized. The exercises they give me are very custom to my needs. Even more so than I’ve had in physical therapy in the past. Being able to do this in the pool alleviates so much strain on my joints and muscles. The buoyancy and the pressure underwater works so well and bringing the difficulty level down, but still building muscle and strength. I enjoy Raquel’s support so much!! I hope she works there for a very long time. I will be going there for a very long time and I’m so grateful. Everyone I’ve come in contact with there is very kind. The environment is calming to me. Thank you so much!!
Today I went in hurting and left without pain. Brian's use of Watsu relaxed and gently stretched my back and combined with the use of acupressure took away pain that has kept me up at night. I could hardly believe it when I walked out feeling no pain. The pool is the best therapeutic pool I have been in. The PT staff is very knowledgeable and caring.
The physical therapist are wonderful here at Sandy Physical Therapy and Aquatics. They work very closely to help in your specific areas of injury and pain. In the pool you are able to do many things pain-free that you cannot do while not in the water. I began seeing results very quickly and always looked forward to going to see the improvements I was making. Everyone is very.professional and it is a great atmosphere for recovery. I will recommend them to anyone needing physical therapy especially in the pool.
In 2023, after experiencing some challenging health issues, my son, John, discovered Sandy Physical Therapy And Aquatics and suggested we check it out. We made an appointment for a free evaluation and met with Brian Terry, the Director of the facility. We quickly learned the center offered far more than treatments and exercise; it's an experience tailored to each individual using physical therapy combined with unique techniques in a soothing 95-degree warm pool. I was thrilled to discover they even had a water wheelchair and a ramp into the pool, allowing anyone access. I'm thankful that Brain and his caring professional coaches who are amazing people dedicated to providing hope, encouragement and creative therapy services in this comfortable, healing environment. I must admit that the first time in the warm pool was a bit of heaven as i felt my body relaxed and move with greater fluidity and comfort. Since then, I have consistently gone twice a week and worked with several of their coaches and therapists. Each has offered unique and wonderful insights along with the latest techniques to enrich the lives of each client assisting each one in achieving greater health and well-being. Gratefully, I've made some good progress, and I'm looking forward to new horizons of healthier living as I continue working with my amazing PT, Raquel. – Leigh Hunt, a prolific poet, essayist, and journalist, was a central figure in England once said, "The groundwork for all happiness is good health."
