What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reviews indicate significant dissatisfaction with customer service, describing staff as unfriendly, sarcastic, and unhelpful. A major recurring complaint is the severe lack of available lanes for lap swimmers, often attributed to staff shortages or mismanagement, leading to overcrowding and pools sitting idle while swim teams are favored. Specific incidents include lifeguards closing pools early and staff refusing accommodations. While the facility is acknowledged as a true lap pool and appears well-maintained, it is generally considered unsuitable for children due to limited recreational options.

Customer service is lacking. The lifeguards don’t look happy and the requests they make are in an unfriendly tone. They kick everyone out ten minutes before closing time. There’s not much to this pool unless you like doing laps as they have an indoor and outdoor lap pool. It appears to be well maintained.
Steiner claims that Only one pool open now due to lifeguards back to school …. Bogus! Staff shortage is miss management or budget issue… which is it!? Now we have 3 and 4 people per lane while an entire pool sites ideal! Mayor! Fix this! Hire guards or refund dues!
The worst of the worst, if possible. Salt Lake already panders to swim teams for pocket lining purposes, but to leave 1 lane of a 50m pool open for lap swimmers and have the “manager on deck” aka teenage twit with an attitude who legit said about the second lane “this is an accommodation lane but we use it for splash and swim”. I was refused an accommodation with my hip and knee replacement. People were leaving because of the chaos. But the 8 person swim team had fun in 5 lanes. Hard pass on this place and their awful employees.
I had a terrible experience this afternoon today when I arrived to ask about the swimming pool. There was a brunette girl she said to me in a sarcastic tone that there was not a pool open for kids. Does people like to work there? Looks like she was forced to do their job. I think interrupted her movie.
A true lap pool for swimmers. Not suited for children. Fortunately, there are lots of choices.
