Finally, a review of the 2 bedroom queen suite at the Bahn! Before we booked I looked everywhere for good pics of the room, didn’t exist…until now! We rented a 2 bedroom queen suite with sofa bed at the bahn, old portion, for 1 night this passed weekend. Checked in at 10pm easy, got bands for the park next day, easy. The room was a little crooked(literally in the kitchen we laid a marker and it rolled pretty good, lol.) and had a little smell, but to be expected somewhat in a room that old. If it was more than 1 night I may have gotten another room though, hard to look at because it looks and is crooked. Having the park right off the back porch of the room was cool! Check out at 11 was super easy. The park, very fun, gets busy quick. When you stay at the resort you can opt/pay for early access, do it, worth it. Hit the top 2-3 rides asap, and expect lines the rest of the time, wasn’t too bad at end of season though. Cashless park, but you can put cash on a prepaid card inside the park, or use your credit card. No atms in the park. Small locker, $20 for the day, no brainer. Hope this helps, here’s some room pics!
We were really disappointed with our stay. The AC unit couldn’t keep up with the heat, and despite trying multiple times, we couldn’t get in touch with anyone for help. When you book, you’re asked to enter the number of guests—we had 8—and the listing says it accommodates that many. But one of the sleeping arrangements is a very old, uncomfortable futon that honestly shouldn’t count as a bed and everything smells musty. I just never imagined a place calling itself a “resort” would be like this. Definitely not what we expected. I’ve included a few pictures just to show how dated and poorly maintained things are. I’m usually very careful about reading reviews and have never ended up in a place like this (especially painful with the price tag that should have indicated a nice resort). Hoping this helps someone else avoid the same mistake. We are not certain we will stay our second night
Loved it! Great for the family! Cant wait to go back. We stayed in one of the mote affordable rooms. It was ok. May pay more for a better room next time. Still a good enough place to rest your head, Take walks, Watch outdoor movies in the evening, and swim in the pools after the park closes. We had fun as a family. Definitely recommend.
For the past 2 times, we had been staying in loft. The price is higher but we got the full two bedroom home with balcony, kitchen, ... Very nice place. The balcony is facing the river. We had breakfast at there before heading to the water park. The only complain that I have is one of the beds that got broken crossbars. The maintenance should be done better. There are nice restaurants close by. You must try Krause, a German restaurant. We also got the tickets via the resort and they are half off. Very good deal. Don't go there in late July and early August because I want to make sure that I can get a loft. Thanks.
The resort is close and convenient to one side of the park but not close to after hours pools if that is your thing. The staff is very responsive to maintenance requests and nightly smores were a big hit. My only complaint was that our room was right next to train tracks and the train runs all night every 3-4 hours and the TV had audio only channels it seems like on all the good channels like Disney
