The waterpark is located within California’s Great America and is quite spacious—perfect for families with young children. Admission to the waterpark is included with your ticket to the main Great America park. The entire place is very family-friendly, catering to all ages from young kids to adults. The restrooms are well-maintained, and the park is kept clean. The GA app worka very well and give royolty rewards. One of the best values is purchasing the Great America Season Gold Pass, which allows unlimited visits not only to Great America but also to other parks like Gilroy Gardens, offering access to a wide range of attractions. It's an affordable and fun option for families and friends to enjoy year-round, including seasonal events such as Halloween Haunt, WinterFest, Easter Egg Hunts, New Year celebrations, and countless rides. The season pass is like the “all-you-can-eat buffet” of theme park fun in the Bay Area. However, it’s worth noting that the parent company, Six Flags, has plans to close Great America in the coming years. Hopefully, everyone will have a chance to enjoy this top-tier theme park and create lasting memories before it’s gone.
Many small kids slides were closed, long queue for bigger slides with height requirement. The wave pool was just fine. The food at restaurant near wave pool was awesome specially the Margarita drinks.
It's fun for the kids... But like the rest of Great America, if there is a line, it's either at least a 20 minutes for a 40 second thrill. But the time you get to get the slide you're already dry and the water is pretty cold all over again.
Well maintained and many options for all ages. Lines on slides can get long but the wave pool and lazy river are awesome. Little slide area for the smaller kids is perfect and lifeguards are very attentive
Avoid the deep end of Breakers Bay, unless you have a life jacket or can swim like a fish. Stay in shallow water or use the sprinklers and water rides/slides to be safe.
