What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reviews for this location are mixed, with significant praise for its strong community environment, particularly noting the dedication of staff like Chris, Toby, and Chance, who make families feel welcome and provide excellent support for youth programs including daycare, sports, homeschool P.E., and summer camps. Many users appreciate the safe and positive atmosphere for children's growth. However, a substantial number of negative reviews highlight severe issues with staff professionalism and registration processes. Recurring complaints include rude, unhelpful, and disrespectful staff, who are perceived as being overly rigid with rules (e.g., refusing military IDs) and lacking customer service. The registration process, especially in-person, is frequently criticized for being chaotic and error-prone, leading to mishaps such as children not being properly added to accounts, classes being listed that don't exist, and miscommunications about camp schedules, causing significant inconvenience and frustration for parents.

It's a nice family environment. The daycare is superb. My son loves the park there. My two older children love the swimming pool. Overall just fantastic. Thank you
Can give less star. Worst staff ever , anyplace in US people better then here! They pretend follow rules, and do not accept military issued ID, with this ID people can board on flight BUT cannot get in to YMCA. No respect to customer at all, management have to do something with this. Get another great experience with “” great stuff “” May just me unlucky, they do not fork fir people , just want to show who is king here, you are sheet customer , I an here officer and follow all letters on rules , do not care if all customer nit comming here, make stuff live better.
Although we still use this location I don't recommend it. From the very start they messed up my registration by not properly adding my children to my account. That mishap caused a huge problem when it came to signing up for classes. It was so bad I even drove in to speak about it and lady helping me wasn't listening at all. She kept ignoring the bigger issue and just tried to push class times that didn't work for us. To get it fixed I had to speak with someone higher up who was definitely a better person to deal with and very kind. Second registration went smoothly. Third registration they had a swim class on there that apparently didn't actually exist. After about 20 attempts to register, several phone calls, then an email I finally hear back. The class didn't actually exist. No explanation on why it was even on there. So they offered a time slot that clearly wouldn't work because it would mean we would have to spend 3 hours at the Y. That's just too much wasted sunshine time during summer. I've registered my kids for some classes at the Pearl location and it went flawlessly. We only go here because of friends. So we will be splitting our time between both locations.
Went to take my daughter to the summer camp program and was told she wasn’t registered for week 3. I went in person to sign my daughter up for summer camp by 3 different people and not one person told me that she was not registered for week 3. I had to miss work to keep her for the day. Registering for anything with the staff members in person has been a horrible experience. I would have been better off signing my daughter up myself through the website. I was told I was paying for 9 weeks of summer camp and never told anything about week 3. So many kids were turned around today and told the same thing
This place is about Community! Specifically Chris and Toby make you feel welcome and like Family. They go above and beyond for all the youths and their Community. Chris is a great Leader and Mentor running the youth department. The counsel and coaches/volunteers are an excellent addition for whole Family Support. Chance is great with the homeschool p.e. classes and keeps it fun! My youths are thriving here in all their programs, from sports to summer camp. We always feel Safe and welcomed here. Great place to watch your youths grow up year after year. Thank you all for your hard work and dedication.
