I LUV FWCC!!! I have been a using the facility for several years and love the variety of so many exercise levels and activity choices to choose from every day of the week, eliminating excuses NOT to exercise! The number of various classes and other offerings are absolutely amazing. The huge gym, walking track, exercise room, and various swim pools are all wonderful spaces. Staff are very fun, kind, caring professional, knowledgeable, & competent in regards to their various skill sets. They are are also responsive to feedback with follow-up completed in a timely manner. Solutions are are also equitable to all involved. I have utilized their conference room spaces for work related events and the facilities for group rentals are excellent. Kudo's to Heather for the classes she leads with excellence, safety in mind,, and the hand-outs for us to learn and practice when away. Also, must mention her funny (& very clean) jokes! The jokes are exercises too, when I laugh so hard! In my opinion, an excellent best practice for a community center. Gratefully & Sincerely, L.
Tried to go to use the facility with my Son, said we needed ID to enter. Say What!? What a ridiculous policy. I've been going to community centers my whole life and never ran into such a silly policy. I literally have my cash in hand and pay taxes, and can vote without an ID, why are they making getting healthy so difficult? I specifically dont bring my wallet because this is the place I've seen the most petty theft, but now I can't come in without it? Whoever came up with that policy is clearly trying to keep people out.
I go to the morning group classes and love them. The variety of class options and times offers everyone the opportunity to workout. The instructors are awesome and really know their stuff. The facility is nice and clean and I’ve had positive experiences with the front desk staff. I don’t use the pool, locker rooms, or showers so can’t speak to those. My only complaint is that the pickle-ballers need more respect. Every time kids are on break the center reduces play time and courts for the pickleball players. It’s time to build a separate pickleball court.
My kiddos go to the fireflies summer camp and they have a blast. Ms Deja is wonderful! We also love to come swimming during family swim. Great place to be!
I've been going to the group active class for over 10 years. This has enabled me to do the Seattle Big Climb at the Columbia Tower and run 5K races and to generally be way more healthy. Trisha and others are great instructors. I appreciate all the Community Center has done for me.
