Set on 7 acres, this water park features a crystalline lagoon, swimming, and beach games.
The lagoon's water temperature is generally ambient, relying on the local weather and sun exposure. The vast body of water is typically not heated, so its temperature fluctuates with the climate. In Florida's warm climate, it usually provides comfortable swimming conditions for much of the year, particularly from spring through fall.

My family and I had a fantastic experience at Epperson Lagoon. We arrived early to secure a good spot near the zero-entry area. We paid a little extra for access to all the amenities they offered. The obstacle course was a lot of fun and quite challenging; you had to be careful not to slip off and find a way back up onto the floats. I found the water to be both relaxing and refreshing. I recommend bringing a pool noodle to help you float in the deep areas, as they are extremely deep. I wish we lived closer so we could get a yearly pass to this place. It’s really fun for the whole family, with something for everyone to enjoy.
Epperson Lagoon was a decent place to visit. We had a great time there even though the sun was blazing extremely hot. The water was beautiful and very comfortable. The huge obstacle water course was challenging and fun at the same time. There is a huge water inflatable water slide that was cool. Kayaking and bumper boats were also available. I recommend visiting Epperson Lagoon at least once. I doubt I would go there again, but it's definitely an experience.
I’ve been to a few metro lagoons, and unfortunately, this one ranks at the bottom. First, don’t waste your money on the “premium” umbrella and lounge chairs. Lounge chairs are free on a first-come, first-serve basis, and you can set up right on the beach with your own beach umbrellas. But if you pay extra, you’re stuck on the concrete sidewalk with a view of… other people walking by. Super lazy on management’s part to charge for that. I opened a tab at the “swim-up bar” — except you can’t actually swim to it. Most of the lagoon is closed off for water activities, which were fun and worth the extra charge. But the bar? Have to come out of the pool walk on the sidewalk and get back in. Total flop. Tried the tiki bar next and it somehow got worse. One bartender working on a packed Saturday. I waited over 30 minutes in line while people would sit at the bar skipped the line completely and got served right away. It was a mess, plain and simple. Could’ve gone to Volcano Bay for what we spent for two adults and six kids. Skip this place, parents. It’s just not worth it.
It is a lot smaller than the pictures lead on. Its like one big community pool rather than a whole experience. The employees were chill, you are not going to get Disney energy here. Food wasnt bad. It was a nice weekday visit. I felt like I got my money's worth out of the day pass. You can bring your own canteen and umbrella in. Expect amusement park prices here for food and drinks. Parking was great!
Our family loved Epperson Lagoon. All the fun stuff was included in the All day pass and Splash Pass well worth the cost to get in and for the adults they only had to pay for the all day pass. Tons of things for the kids lots of chairs also swim up bar if you don't have kids or bring the kids. Awesome time we will go again soon.
