Sims Park Splash Pad, located at 6433 Circle Blvd in New Port Richey, FL, is a popular interactive water play area within Sims Park. It features various sprayers, fountains, and aquatic play structures, providing a free or low-cost recreational spot for children and families, especially during warmer months.
As a splash pad, the water is typically not temperature-controlled. It generally uses ambient temperature water from the municipal supply, rather than heated or chilled water found in traditional swimming pools. Therefore, specific pool temperatures are not applicable or available.
What are people saying (AI review summary)? The park generally receives positive feedback, particularly for its updated and beautiful playground, which is considered a highlight in the area. Many visitors appreciate the existing shade structures and the water pad for cooling off, though some reviews note that the 'splash pad' is small, simple, or functions more like a sprinkler with a limited number of working jets. There is a common suggestion for more shade to cover playground equipment. The park is often described as fun and very clean. One review also mentioned concerns about homelessness and local attendance.

Nice splash area. Small and simple, but fun.
The updated playground is the best in the area, and I loved that they have the sail shades for a little relief from the direct sun. We really appreciated the water pad where the kids could cool off. Definitely check it out.
Nice park, paid my LOCAL taxes!...but not many LOCALS are here...lots of homeless, and PR and NPR are NOT doing anything about it!...sad...such a nice place
Many of the water spouts did not work. Playground is beautiful but could use a couple of more shades to cover equipment.
Great park lots of fun, but came here to visit as a splash pad and found a sprinkler (8 'jets' of water in total) and that's it. Very clean and great park but not a splash pad. It's like calling a bicycle a motor cycle.
