What are people saying (AI review summary)? Reviews for this aquatic center are highly mixed, with significant inconsistencies in visitor experiences and facility quality. Positive feedback often highlights the center's variety of activities and pool sections, generally attentive and nice staff (particularly at the front desk), and ample space for personal belongings. Some reviewers also noted clean ladies' restrooms and functional water fountains. However, numerous complaints center on maintenance and hygiene issues, including dirty splash pads, clogged spouts, slimy algae, and even human waste found in pools, with a notable mention of a strong urine smell in the ladies' locker room. Many family visitors found the center less kid-friendly than advertised, as key attractions like waterslides, diving boards, and splash pad features are frequently shut off or limited, leading to crowded recreational pools despite unused lane space. Other recurring negatives include a lack of shade and lounge chairs, an often-closed snack bar, intense lifeguards, and unexpected delays for general admission due to events. The center is often perceived as better suited for serious lap swimmers, provided the water quality is acceptable, rather than for a family fun day.

I don’t know if I just went on an off day or what but this place could use a little renovating. The kids splash pad looks as if it could use some new paint and some of the spouts seemed to be partially clogged. Life guards can be a bit intense, so be mindful of that. Oh, and they often have events here so be aware you’ll have to wait despite them saying they’re open - just have to wait until the swim meets are over. This place has potential, but it’s being run into the ground. Hardly any places for shade and not one lounge/tanning chair. If you go here, be sure to bring your own chair. Bring your own snacks as well, because the entire time I was there the snack bar was not open. That being said, the pools were clean, the ladies restrooms were clean, cold water fountains to drink from, and the front desk staff was nice. Basically, this place doesn’t seem as kid friendly as shown. Unless you’re a pro swimmer or in swim meets this place isn’t for you. Take your money and go elsewhere. I really wanted to give this place 5 stars but just couldn’t after my experience. Felt off the entire time and was constantly stared at.
We love coming to this pool, however, for some reason the rec pool had 3 swimming lanes with no one in them and 50+ people only able to use half of the pool but also has a whole dedicated pool for lanes on the other side. It made it hard to enjoy because everyone was on top of each other. There wasn't any room to swim.
Great place! I’m not sure about memberships or pricing but the center offers ALOT of variety within the facility. There is ample space to put your things, pools are sections off into different areas, lots of things for kids and adults to do. Areas are kept clean and the staff is attentive and nice!
I used to love coming here for lap swimming, the view is beautiful and the pool is deep and a great workout. For two years now the pool water is in horrible shape. Picture this, you reserve a lap early in the morning, you’re one of the first there, you get the signal to jump in and as you swim you look down and there is human poop on the bottom of the pool. Horrified you get out and warn everyone around you including the lifeguards. First people there and poop is in the pool probably from the day before. Now if you don’t find poop you will find slimey algae at the bottom. When asked when they clean the pool no one has an answer. It’s “the lifeguards job” which is obvious there is no schedule for cleaning no overnight sweeps and no refused for chemical balance. Do better! you’ve taken a lot of people’s money and you’re not giving us a sanitary place to exercise!! All I want is you to do better! Clean the pool! Check for poop, put chlorine in!
While visiting my Grandparents during an unseasonably warm spell at the end of Feb we visited the aquatic center. I was lead to believe by the website that this was a kid friendly pool but I guess that’s only after Spring Break. If your kids want to have fun before then good luck. The waterslide was shut off, the diving boards were closed, after being assured by staff that there was still fun stuff to do we arrived found only HALF the toys were turned on in the splash pad, the shade had been removed and only TWO lanes in the shallow end of the small recreational pool were set aside for kids to swim and play. I guess if I wanted more room I should’ve rented the rest of the lanes in that pool so they wouldn’t have to “miss out on the fee income” from those lanes (their words not mine). $14.00 for a family we only stayed for and hour and found the most unpleasant thing on our way out. The ladies locker room smelled very strongly of fresh urine. As if someone had recently peed on the floor and it dried. Yuck. I was just looking for some fun for my kiddos in during the warm afternoon. I think if swimming laps in peace is your jam and you don’t have to visit the locker room this center is probably great. But if you have kids and want to have fun - my advice is look elsewhere.
