What are people saying (AI review summary)? The swimming facility is generally praised for its cleanliness, improved atmosphere, and the presence of numerous lifeguards, operating Tuesday through Saturday from 1 PM to 7 PM. Visitors appreciate the excellent water slide, a kids' beach area, and a splash pad, making it an enjoyable destination for all ages, especially on hot days, with recent repainting contributing to a positive experience. However, common complaints include the absence of toilet paper in restrooms, non-locking women's restroom stalls, and a need for repainting and maintenance in the restroom and shower areas. Several patrons found the rules and lifeguard enforcement overly strict, particularly a policy requiring children who enter with life jackets to wear them continuously, even in shallow water, and excessive whistling for minor infractions. Other rules prohibit piggyback riding, food/drinks (water is allowed), and using slides with life jackets. Some also reported the main slide being out of service due to low pool levels, and a desire for more shaded seating was expressed.

Rec swimming is open Tuesday through Saturday from 1pm until 7pm! Hope this helps! My little one loves the little swim area with the splash pad style swim area and overall, we had a great time and will return! The MOST bizarre thing… no toilet paper is kept in the bathrooms 🥴 but you can ask at the front desk! Some rules I observed were: if your kid brings a life jacket, then they are not allowed to go on the slide! No piggie back riding in the pool No food or drinks allowed it appears, only water No chairs, but you are allowed to bring some folding
The pool atmosphere was better than I remember from 3 years ago. The pool was pleasantly very clean and had plenty of life guards. There are a few places to sit with shade, but it would be nice if they added more seating. They could also repaint the restrooms and shower area, which seems very lacking and a bit forgotten about. They do have an awesome kids' beach area and a cool slide as well as a little separate splash bad area for the littles. I'm happy we came back to visit as it is in my neighborhood. We will be back all summer.
We went yesterday 7-11-25 and didn’t enjoy going at all. We brought our youngest 2 in life jackets thinking that the depth would get deep enough that they would need them and the deepest part of the “kid area” is 3’6”. Since they could touch we took the jacket off of 1 child and the lifeguard whistled at us and told us she was declared as being unable to swim, as she had come in with a life jacket, so she would need to remain in one in the pool. That rule is simply stupid to put it nicely, we were right by her and what if she’d gone into a part she could easily touch? Does she still need to wear it in 2” of water? Before that she had whistled at kids for a water gun, rough housing, throwing something across the pool, a mom having a kiddo piggy back on her while the mom was sitting in the zero entry part of the pool (not even standing, her kiddo had just climbed onto her back), and my husband since he wasn’t within arms length of our kids in life jackets. There were few people there since we came right at open and honestly the rowdiness she kept whistling at was minimal to none. As another reviewer said, it’s not a place kids are allowed to have fun, at least from our experience and also the slide was not running because the pool levels were too low. Huge disappointment and we left within 15 minutes. Not worth the time to apply sunscreen (in our opinion) Also a side note, none of the women’s restrooms lock and there is no toilet paper in stalls as another reviewer noted.
Great place to go in a hot day. Excellent water slide and the pool temperature is perfect. I'll bring all the grandbabies here for fun this summer. Highly recommend.
Love the pool it’s clean and very safe this year they repainted and all kinds of stuff , fun for all ages it’s 💯💯 for our fan ..
